Strawberry Birthday Cake

I got a cake here for my mom. It was perfect! Strawberry cake with strawberry and cherry filling, Y'ALL. Highly recommend.

Pumpkin pie

Spinach feta turnovers and apple turnovers are amazing. The dough is crispy. The apple turnovers have nice flavor and not too sweet. Both are solid 5/5 stars. Pumpkin pie is diabetic alert. It's overwhelmingly sweet and I can barely taste any pumpkin. Stay away from this pie.

Wonderful, quaint family owned bakery near the start of Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail (by end of old RR tracks). A diamond in the rough, stumbled upon this by smelling the flavorful bakery scents in the air as we completed a morning walk on the Greenway Trail near downtown HS. Fresh baked goods with a simple menu for breakfast or lunch, this is worth a visit for dine-in or takeout. A 4-4.5 rating for outstanding baked treats, friendly quick service, and affordable cost UNDER $10pp. No fancy gourmet coffees offered, but freshly brewed is available. Stopped for a snack after a healthy walk, so ordered a super YUMMY breakfast pastry of Greens, Egg and Ham; served warm, a soufflé styled pastry is absolutely fantastic, nice combination of ingredients and light flaky crust!! I could eat this everyday! Also got to try a Chorizo and Goat cheese pastry. This was very good, but definitely heavier on tender, saltier chorizo meat versus Goat cheese flavor. Next time I'd like to try a Spinach Feta pastry, perhaps a bit lighter and healthier. But you won't go wrong on either. Finally, tried a cookie with Chocolate filling as dessert, great treat and not overly sweet. If you like fresh baked goods, visit Ambrosia Bakery. Enjoy!

Roasted Garlic Grilled Cheese w/ Kettle Chips

I'll start with the positives. Ambrosia served me me the best grilled cheese I've ever had. I didn't want it to end. From now on, I'm putting garlic in the ones I make at home. Also, who knew gruyere and cheddar would work so perfectly together?? On the flip side, the pastry bars we got were all crust - more of a crumble than a bar. This made the fruit ones a bit underwhelming, as there wasn't much fruit to speak of, but the Hello Dolly flavor was nice. Overall, though, I will come back next time I'm in Hot Springs, because their other offerings seems promising.

Ambrosia Bakery did the cutest cookies for a bridal lunch! I called them the week of and they were so quick to respond. Highly recommend!!

Best Bakery in Central Arkansas. They have the best German chocolate cake and Cherry Pie around. A must stop in downtown Hot Springs.

Just ok, I was hoping for bakery that made really good bakery items. I've been to bakeries that everything you taste is outstanding.

Needed a breakfast spot on a Sunday morning and happened to come across this small place…read more Yes. We waited a bit for food and yes it's a little outdated HOWEVER the service and food were great! Our waitress was as friendly as could be and kept my coffee filled. Husband had the ham and cheese omelette and a side of biscuit and gravy. He's a fast eater anyway but there was nothing left on his plate. I enjoyed the breakfast croissant sandwich special. The croissant was smooshed but that didn't change the taste. The bacon was perfectly cooked! Hash browns were also cooked just like I like them. Just have patience while you wait and you'll enjoy yummy food and friendly service!

Review #18 out of 25 for 2025 lets goo!!…read more This restaurant caught my eye on my trip to hot spring Arkansas. Its located off main street in the downtown area so its easy to get to. Plenty of street parking but what I had an issue with was that they close everyday at like 3pm! They are missing on so much potential business, specially since they are within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The first time I went to eat here they were close, the second time I went in they were about to close down. Well third time is the charm and I was finally able to eat at this restaurant. I already knew what I wanted looking at their menu from the window. I got the country fry steak with mash potatoes and okra (its my go to), with white gravy and sweet tea. I got a side of brown grave to compare and I like the white gravy better (the brown one was good but too salty). They did have a bit of a wait but that was fine since I knew this place was in a busy tourist place. The food was hot, it had flavor and came out in a reasonable time, the okra was crisp and not burnt, the mash potatoes were chunky but thats ok (wish they would have given me more). The steak was delicious and if I were in the area again I would stop by early before they close.

My first interaction with the hostess was a pointed finger towards the back of the restaurant while she stated "the booth in the back". A little shocked that was all that she was going to say, I lead my group to the back of the restaurant hoping I was guiding them to where the hostess had intended on us sitting. Another incident occurred when someone in our party who was sitting in the middle of the booth asked the server for hot sauce, the response was mumbled under her breath as she walked away "There's a shelf over there." I understand if it's a self service hot sauce bar, but there are about a million more hospitable ways to communicate that. I obviously got up & grabbed it bec that seemed like a better solution than making our entire table climb out of the booth. Not to mention a cockroach casually strolled around our booth. We told our server, no apology, no concern, nothing. Ironically, the food itself was fine. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed it. After we left, we were walking around the strip talking about the experience when multiple shop owners told us this restaurant has a reputation for service like that & said we should have gone to the Famous Pancake House instead. So here's my warning to other travelers, if you're looking for breakfast with friendly service, I'd probably keep walking. If you're looking for an unintentional interactive experience where you will wonder whether you're on a hidden camera prank show... this might be the place...

We drove all the way from Little Rock to Hot Springs to celebrate my birthday, and I wanted to start my day by coming here for coffee. I understand it's busy. The line was long, but we stood in it like everyone else, waited our turn, and were about to spend $51 on coffee and breakfast for our family. Unfortunately, the gentleman taking orders (mustache and piercing in between the eyes) acted as though we were the greatest inconvenience in the world. As we were deciding what everyone wanted and placing our order, he was visibly irritated, sighing and looking like he was holding back an eye roll whenever we spoke to him. I initially wondered if I was reading too much into his demeanor, but as soon as we walked away, both my husband and my 12-year-old independently commented on his attitude and how uncomfortable the interaction was. When even a 12-year-old notices how annoyed an employee seems to be by customers simply ordering, there's a problem. I don't expect someone working a busy counter to be bubbly or put on a performance for me. But basic friendliness--or at minimum, not making customers feel like a burden for ordering--is a pretty reasonable expectation. If someone dislikes interacting with customers that much, having him be the person taking orders seems like an odd choice. Even worse, the coffee I had specifically been looking forward to wasn't nearly as good as it was the last time we visited. This time it tasted noticeably less rich and almost watered down. My husband did enjoy his matcha, but between the quality of my drink, spending $51 on our order, and being made to feel like an inconvenience simply for placing it, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing--especially as the start of my birthday. We came in genuinely excited to return because we'd had such a good experience here before. Unfortunately, we left feeling like we probably won't be back. -I got a raspberry-rose latte (meh) -Husband got an iced matcha latte (Loved it) -Daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich (she said it was fine, not the best) -Banana bread slice and pumpkin bread slice. Those were pretty good

The patrons are a grab bag of weirdos, like a tornado blew through a trailer park, swung by 'da club, ripped through a carnival then dropped everyone off for a late night snack. I have had some great food in similar places, so I'm okay with it. It was like eating "fair food" if we'd been at the state fair. They skewer two big chunks of breast meat along with sliced potatoes, bell pepper, onion and pickles, then batter the whole thing and deep fry it. An included dipping sauce finishes everything off. The batter is well seasoned, not spicy, the chicken is juicy and the veggies are cooked nicely. I'd have it again. The place had a few tables and counters for eating on site. Super friendly people there. Love it!
