Ordered a cafe con leche with heavy cream & a your mama's? I think it's called lol cinnamon roll. Both were heavenly! The cinnamon rolls they had an entire page in the menu dedicated to some sweet, swirly cinnamon goodness options but all of them were $11.11 so I chose the classic one for $5 & change. Don't think I've ever seen a cafe or restaurant where most of their prices are with either the same 3 or 4 digits lol Reason why it's not 5 stars is the stimuli in that place was way more than I can handle. I ended up having to take deep breaths in car & take time to regulate my nervous system before driving off. Everything echoed & seemed like the decibel of sound doubled. From the blender for smoothies to the emptying out the coffee grounds from espresso machine against the trash can to the ear piercing drag of the chairs from patrons. Cafe Mi Amor Came here for brunch and got the lover bowl (19.99): cilantro lime rice, Cuban black beans, organic mixed greens, avocado chunks, Cajun turkey, crispy bacon, pickled red onion, and a drizzle of cilantro lime aioli. One thing that makes this place stand out is all the Rubik's cubes, puzzles, and toys around--I was playing with them while waiting which made the whole vibe feel fun and relaxed. The staff was nice and helpful the whole time. A little on the pricier side, but easily my favorite brunch spot I've been to so far in Arkansas. Today was my 4th visit to Mi Amor Cafe in less than a week. The Cafe is spotlessly clean, the staff is friendly and eager to please. All coffee and food we've eaten there, absolutely scrumptious! Stopped for brunch not knowing what to expect since Best Cafe was no longer taking names 1hr before closing But I'm so glad it worked out like this because my brunch here was Amazing! In a tired-looking strip mall in Arkansas is Cafe Mi Amor, a small Cuban restaurant that earned our business with great ratings on places like where you're reading this. Being very hungry after a day of exploring, we ventured in. To be honest I was really put off by the price. $22 for a sandwich? But it was late and I could have eaten the table to be honest so I ponied up for a Miami-Style Cuban sandwich for me and one for my better half. She also got a Cortadito Bonito (coffee with chocolate) and I got a Café Bombon (coffee with sweetened condensed milk) It was promising how clean and nicely decorated the place was - I particularly liked the copper-colored wiring enclosures and lighting that they had but everything had a sense of style. Another good sign- every table was occupied at 2 in the afternoon. The sandwiches arrived and, after just one bite, I knew I had invested wisely. These sandwiches were incredibly flavorful with very tender pork and pickles and a delightful sauce. The bread is home-made. The rice and beans were also delicious with a sauce atop the rice that, you guessed it, was wonderful. As I sit here and write this I'm still glad I went and also still full from the food and coffee I so enjoyed yesterday afternoon. If you're in the area don't be put off by the price - it will be an investment your taste buds will be glad you made. read more

Do not waste your time! Immediately upon entering I should have exited but u was in a hurry and needed a quick bite and was hoping for a latte. The latte never showed up and we received our food. Upon receiving our food we reminded them that they forgot our latte. When we were ready to leave we had to request a refund because we NEVER received the latte! Then they said that we never ordered it. SO frustrating and infuriating!!! Will never go back and the food was disgusting and there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. I went next door and ordered the blueberry lavender matcha latte w/oat milk; it was the absolute best I've ever had! Slightly sweet, but with full earthy tones and creamy with bits of blueberry pulp. The service was amazing! Arkansas has some really nice people. There's only two people running this cute restaurant, but they do a darn good job with preparing the food in a time crunch. Decided to order a few items and was told by the friendly hostess it would be a long wait. Totally understandable given the amount of people visiting from the nearby Hot Springs. I then noticed numerous flies in the front area which I found extremely concerning. I asked for a refund which they promptly gave me. Visited this restaurant today for lunch. All I can say is super excellent. We did not go for coffee but we went for food. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was excellent with potato salad and the lime-cilantro rice. My wife had a The ultimate Cuban breakfast on the cuban roll, she said it was excellent The attention provided to us by the employees/owners was personal and over the top!!!! I don't get coffee so I can't speak to their drinks, but the looked so good I was thinking about having one of their non-coffee drinks, but I was so full from the food I wasn't in a position to order anything else . I have had Cuban sandwiches in many places over the years, and I would say this is the best I've ever had. The place is very quaint and personal. Absolutely will recommend this to any of my friends going to Hot Springs, telling them to absolutely go there.We are from Texarkana and we visit Hot Springs often. Tried Mi Amor Cafe for lunch. It is in the Freeman Center on Central. A little hard to find from the street ( we drove past it). I had the Miami Cuban. My daughter had the cheese and bacon croissant and espresso. My wife had the A Sandwich and a smothie. The decor is inviting and some what basic on cafe side. The smoothie side is warm and friendly with couches. Bring friends and hang out. One criticism is that the open kitchen needs a better vent system. It gets a little Smokey. The staff are very friendly and talkative. It was fun listening to their banter. The food is made to order. Not so much as made as crafted for your enjoyment. Because of that our orders came out one at a time. Nothing at the same time. And there is a wait. So once you get your food first thing is to try it. That way the taste will prove it was worth the wait and you will forget all about the wait. So each of the sandwiches was awesome but let's talk sides. Roasted cubed potatoes and Cuban black beans.
