Heading home after a week at Lake Ouachita with two hungry teenage boys, two doodles and my partner in crime early this morning and need a COVID friendly breakfast option for this motley crew. Saw this option along 270 and gave it a shot and I'm glad we did. The service was amazing. I know the young lady was grinning behind her mask because her eyes twinkled. She answered all questions and spoke to both the boys and dogs. Our orders included several croissant breakfast sandwiches, large sausage and cheese kolaches and some glazed donuts. She threw in some extra donut holes and croissants for the dogs (they didn't get them, the boys did). The croissants disappeared with in minutes with the ultimate teenage praise "these are good, can we have the dogs?" The kolaches had just the right amount of roll that surrounded a juicy sausage with cheese. And the donuts? Light, airy with just the right amount of sweet. This is honestly one of the best kolache (and donut) places I've been too. I've been traveling for about a year and try them all over. The taste was great, great presentation. The kolaches and croissants are large and good size. Nothing burnt or dry. I wish this shop was close to where i live :). And the ladies were super sweet! read more

This was a cute little shop that we tried while visiting the Hot Springs area. The texture of the donuts were great and the overall flavor was pretty good. The chocolate frosting, however, tasted off. It had a chemical/lemon taste to it. I had a Bavarian cream filled longjohn and at first I thought the Bavarian cream had gotten crossed with a little lemon filling. I then had a chocolate frosted krueler (they referred to these as "buttermilk" donuts) and it has the same chemical type taste. When I tasted the non-frosted donuts I purchased, (two Glazed kruelers and a few donut holes) I could not detect this taste. The taste lingered even after brushing my teeth and chewing gum. Wondering if it was an off day because other reviews are glowing for this place. I'm not into chain donuts (dunkin, Krispy Kreme, etc) and we've visited quite a few local donut shops when we travel, so my comparison to others is from a variety of different styles. I really think it was not a good sample of what this donut shop probably offers and I'm interested to try another day and see if the chocolate frosting still tastes "off". read more

We stopped for breakfast on the way to the science museum. We had kolaches, croissant sandwiches, donuts and an apple fritter. All were great. The fritter was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and loaded with apples. The sandwiches were great for a quick breakfast. Best donuts! Adore the maple glazed!! They have great donuts of all shapes,sizes, and flavors. They also have kolaches, fancy kolaches, biscuits, and burritos. This is THE best Donut Shop in town! The best Donuts I've ever had! This business opened in March doing a remodel both inside and outside including a new parking lot; a nice improvement!
