Well, we were pleasantly surprised to find it open on our most recent trip to visit my dad. We stopped in, used the restroom, grabbed some cold drinks, and some snacks. We had just filled up on gas in Kingman so we skipped topping off this time, but the pumps looked pretty standard for a Maverik. We will try them out on our next visit. We used the self-checkout and got some instant savings on our purchases. The clerk was super friendly as he checked on us and even offered us a bag for our purchases. As a regular visitor to the area and beyond, I am super happy to have a new place to stop. The town otherwise really only has a couple of old Shell stations along this stretch of the road. Maveriks are always a great place to stop for fuel, drinks, and snacks and their rewards program is top notch. Check it out if you're in the area.

Went inside to let the clerk know about it, little did I know he was not having a good morning. It was busy so that might explain his response to me when I was just letting him know about it. Instead of just saying thank you and recording the issue, he said he didn't know what I expected him to do about it as he didn't have time to deal with it. Front counter employee could be a little friendlier and focused on customer service. Bottom line I like Maverik so I will continue to shop there, Ill just avoid that employee.

Thought it was a great deal so I grabbed that off the rack right under their deals displayed above on the tv, the hot and ready to go foods and made the sandwich all up with jalapeños and onions etc.... I was also going to grab the other deal they had for buy one get one free for the chicken Parmesan Chicken sticks and I'm glad I didn't because they would have had to be wasted and thrown into the trash with the sandwich and drink because when I got up there to the front I was told "umm, the thing is.... This has cheese on it..." (the sandwich I'm guessing) "so I can't give you that deal" I had no idea how they made the sandwiches I just grabbed on of many. I said "aren't they all that way??" As I walked over to check, and they are all that way the way they make them so I guess you have to make a request for one to be made from scratch and ask them to NOT put cheese on it and then wait however long for it to then be cooked in order to get the deal... how crazy is that and what a huge waste of food that is when I see people walk in there, quite literally every single day, that grab handfuls of the hot and ready food and just walk right out with nothing said to them! (Homeless or drug addicts I suppose) but still for that to be an issue for something having cheese on it, to be a deal breaker. I didn't know they make all of them that way I just grabbed a biscuit! Idk it's just crazy to me how some people's minds operate and maybe they think I'm the unreasonable one, I don't know but my logic tells me that cheese is the least of my concern in this situation and that I'm not gonna pay over double the price for something because a slice of cheese. Items were easy to find but I got weird vibes inside the store. Staff seemed on edge, I think they have unsavory clientele because they seemed very guarded with me. I came in to buy toothpaste ya'll, come on now... An entire entrance to the store is cornered off and many registers are not in use, this gave me even more of an eerie vibe. I'd like to see what this place is like during the day, at night it seems like a no-go. As for the good, this CVS has an amazing inventory of souvenirs, shirts, and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The location is clean and tidy, I was able to locate my items fairly quickly. Additionally, this location is pretty sizable. I had a lot of space to walk around and explore.

So basically we learned that if you're parking in the Cityscape garage to go to the Cityscape there's a secret path to the Cityscape minus signage! Once you park there's a shortcut you can take if you walk through the CVS to the other side, then bam you'll magically appear in the Cityscape! Oh how easy a few signs for guidance could make our lives a little less frustrating but thanks to nice cashiers we figured out how to get to the Cityscape!
