I've lived next to this place for five years. I'm finally done. A rotation of rude employees that absolutely do jot care. Often just shouting conversations back and forth across the store, while never acknowledging you exist and sloppily ringing your goods. And dear lord, the employees absolutely reek of body oder and are visibly dirty. They serve food, this is absolutely a violation of health standards. I will be calling the health department. The card readers don't work. The tap function almost never work. So paying is a nightmare. But don't mention anything -- or they'll yell at you about "how they just work here." Okay -- well I just don't shop here. I couldnt possibly recommend this place less. There are two more Shells within a mile of here. Use the one on Myrtle. It far superior. read more

Probably one of the mustiest shells I've been too, the staff needs to take a class in hygiene. When you go to checkout the smell is horrendous. You're lucky if you come in and get fresh food, the last few times I've been here they always say it's fresh or only been and hour or two but it's always cold or stale. I know they have good food only when it's fresh or within a few hours but don't tell me it's fresh when you know it's been near a day old. read more

I haven't been treated as rudely anywhere that I can recall. I spent close to $15 on food and non food items. Part of my purchase was cold packaged chicken, which appeared to have good reviews. Something changed, because the chicken I purchased was inedible. It was obviously old and over heated, like jerky . When I showed it to the manager on duty, he told me throw it away and didn't refund my purchase or offer me an alternative. They make a lot of money from the unhoused population in the area who have no other choice but to ship here for food as it's a food desert. They are taking advantage of the most vulnerable, selling them disgusting leftovers which should be thrown out. I will never come in here again on principal. It's disgusting that these types exploit our systems designed to help those in need. I'm reporting them to the attorney general as well. They seemed quite confident that nothing would come of their abuse, but maybe they haven't talked to the right person. Avoid! read more

This review is for the food mart portion of the gas station. I have been here a couple times and each time was to get some food. The giant jojo's here a freakin delicious along with the fried chicken and the fried cat fish. I was really impressed with the fried cat fish, it had great flavor and they give two giant pieces with jojo's for $5. That's a damn good deal. It's not located in the best spot so it might seem a little ghetto plus it's on a very busy corner with lot's of traffic. So sometimes it a little difficult getting in and out of the small parking lot. The food here is great which is rare for a gas station. The gas here is a bit expensive but it is located near the industrial area of South Seattle and Boeing. read more

The fried chicken here is actually surprisingly good. We went there after looking at the Yelp reviews at this place. It is kind of pricy though: $4 for one wing and one breast. And we should definitely try to get the wings maybe like early morning because they made their chicken at 2AM and just let them sit so it is kind of cold when we got the chicken. read more

I typically would not review a chain gas station, however, this one is deserving. They get the one star for the yummy fried chicken and other "kept warm under a heat lamp" food. That's good if you're looking for food at some random time of the day. They lose stars for having the most expensive beer known to man. A 12-pack of Corona will run you nearly $20 here. Go find somewhere else to get your alcohol. They also lose stars for jacking up their prices on gas. The Shell that is literally 4 blocks away usually is cheaper by a couple cents. I know it's about making money and they are close to the freeway entrance and stuff, but really, I get so annoyed by this. They also lose stars for making you spend over $10 to use your debit card. I think it's $10. It might only be $5. Usually my feeling is an over/under of just taking money out of the slow ATM in the corner rather than buying junk I don't need. Good Chicken! This has been the spot for years for cheap fried chicken along with other hot items open 24 hours: burritos, catfish, tamales, corn dogs, pizza, hot dishes (changes daily - curry chicken, lasanga, soup, etc.) Kinda like the Valero on Beacon Hill. Good for breakfast also: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bacon, hashbrowns, etc. As for the rest, regular gas station and food mart, car wash, etc. read more

I only ventured into the bathroom of this fine establishment.. and I wish I hadn't seen that much. This place is downright genius if they are aiming to provide the most disgusting restrooms known to mankind. I am not a germaphobe whatsoever. There may even have been a time or two I've left the bathroom without washing my hands. But this place. I'm speechless. I've never felt so dirty in my life. Like i need to bathe in fire to wash the uck off. I am giving them a second star for bejnf thoughtful enough to provide a changing table. This is one of the better gas station that actually serves prepared food that is edible. I was on my way home during lunch and stopped in for something to drink and ended up trying the fired chicken which was really good. It was better than KFC in my option. The only thing that I didn't like about this place was the bathroom. Somebody really needs to do a better job with it because it reminded me of a Greyhound bathroom. read more

1 star for the hot fried junk food that is 4/5 times warm and fulfills your hunger craving. If there was a grocery store near by I wouldn't of found myself frequenting this convenience. The lack of stars comes from the seemingly rude interactions and condescending attitude coming from every employee except one. It almost seems as if the employees have passed along an incriminating story of me thus the unanimously rude interactions. I buy household supplies when needed in a jiffy, food, and beer frequently and I always feel forced into it because the other corner store closes early and there is no other options. They always play the music way too loud and the people who work there are incredibly rude. Despite the fact that it is ILLEGAL to demand a minimum on debit (not credit) card payments, they do. They will also throw a debit charge onto your card without you noticing, so PAY ATTENTION! Even when told this is violation of their agreement with Visa and MasterCard, they ignore you. And since most people aren't aware this is against their contractual obligations, they get away with it. Don't expect the price you see on the product to be the same as what you're rung up for (especially if paying cash). For example, they advertise 2 burritos for $1.89 plus tax, but if you buy two, they will always charge you $1.09 plus tax * 2. The worst part aren't these mistakes; the worst part is that when you try to correct the people working there, they become very hostile and refuse to budge an inch, even when the sign advertising the price is right in front of both of you! I work nearby and try to avoid this place; it is a last resort, when nothing else is open. Like another reviewer said, I don't expect much from convenience stores and could never imagine reviewing one before, but this place is shockingly bad. Too many homeless people go here. Gas is always a little more expensive here, but I love their fried chicken. I just come here for snacks.

I enjoy the good food and the convenience of this one stop gas station.It really is a great place to gas up and grab your snacks. BUT there is one thing has changed my mind about returning there and this has happened to me twice now. I asked for a bag and If looks could kill i would be dead. I confronted the employee, why do you get upset and give me a dirty look when i ask you for a bag? He replied they cost 15 cent, okay well all you had to do was tell me, i wouldnt mind paying for the bag. Seeing i had 9 items. Wow they should post it or even mention it to the customers that have alot of items as the check them out WE CHARGE 15 CENT PER BAG!!
