This review is specifically for Daniela/Danella. I came in this morning to get gas and it wasn't the first time that I am using this branch. The nozzle wasn't working well compared to the previous times I used it so I had to tell the cashier, Daniela. She gave me instructions and so I returned to the station. I haven't started pumping and the machine already said Thank You so I had to ask again if something was wrong with that specific station. Then Daniela makes this irritated facial expression, doesn't even look at me, finishes whatever she was doing behind the cashier, goes out of the store so I had to follow her, goes to my car, did something to the machine and filled my tank. All this while she was stomping her feet and making an irritated facial expression. Did I make you do something you're not supposed to?! Mind you,this happened even before 8 am. How awful! To the management: Train your employees well. Even if people come in and out of a gas station, you still have to be pleasant. That's why is it called customer service! read more

This is my absolute favorite Shell gas station since I have moved here! The prices are always at an all time low compared to a lot of the gas stations around downtown, sunset, bay view, districts of San Francisco (I notice because I peek at prices as I pass by these stations). Absolutely awful. This guy makes his money by ripping people off, especially students. Went in for new break pads- nearly 8 hours and $600 dollars later I get my car back. Convinces me my rotors are bad and I need new rotors too totalling in about 600 bucks. Puts new rotors on and my car starts shaking, has to get new new ones. When I finally pick it up after having no car on my girlfriends birthday (missed our reservation) I see the old rotors and they are perfectly fine. The guy who runs this shop ripped off a broke student, I hope he's happy. Don't go. read more

i took my infiniti G35 there to replace my ALTERNATOR and i called 10 shop they said they ganna charge me 550 for it and i have to bring my own belt but in this shop the guy said he will check and replace the ALTERNATOR and the belt ( brand new ) for me only for only 460 and after i bought my car there and he check it for me right away and after he checked he start to change the ALTERNATOR for me right away , so in this case i think this shop is the best for me and i realli like this shop if next there is anything wrong with my car i will bring it to this shop i have no qs about it ! thank you read more

I think the gas here is very fair there to most places are usually put gas here or near my house or at Costco I feel like this gas last me forever and I really like how it's clean and the people I work inside of kind of nice and not rude like most people that were get gas stations read more

I was looking for an auto shop to fix my father's inifiniti G35. My dad wanted to find an auto shop that was not only reliable, but also cheap. Geneva Shell was exactly what we were looking for! When I arrived to the auto shop, I was greeted by Vahid, the owner and mechanic of the auto shop. We needed to change our oil, replace a light bulb,and replace our alternator belt. Vahid told us that our car will be ready in about 3 hours. One hour later, he called us and told us he was ready with our car! My father and I were amazed on how quickly he finished. When we went back to pick up our car, Vahid explained everything to us. He told us that he drove around the block to make sure our car was running well. He also explained how our wheels were low on air, so he helped us pump our wheel! The best part is, the price was extremely reasonable! Keep up the good work Vahid! After many unsatisfactory experiences from other auto shops a firefighter friend suggested I try his mechanic at Geneva Shell Auto Care. He had been extremely happy with the shop owners work on his family cars. I needed a major tune-up and decided to try Geneva Shell. Vahid the owner of the Auto Care Service Station was very easy to talk to and work with. Please note the Shell gas station and the auto shop are separately owned businesses. In addition to my tune-up, he happened to noticed my transmission was leaking a small amount of oil. He investigated it and found the source of the leaks, and fixed them for me at no additional cost. They were just loose bolts due to an improper job from a previous mechanic, but it meant the world to me that he made that extra effort to help me. He even replaced a missing o-ring on my drain plug, when the last shop who did my oil change told me they needed to replace the entire plug. Vahid will try to save you money wherever possible. He did a fantastic job tuning up my car, and the car runs great! Vahid is an excellent mechanic that cares about his customers and their cars. He is the owner and the mechanic of his shop, and has strong work ethics. Vahid is now my mechanic, and I would highly recommend him. Got stopped last night for a burnt out headlight. This morning before work, I was stressing because of time constraints. Okay, this was the plan. Get up early, grab coffee, go buy a new headlight at O'Reilly's, then find a place to have it installed. Drove by Geneva Shell and stopped in asking if they would have time to replace the headlight after I purchased it. They told me they have parts and could take care of it right away. Within 30 minutes of leaving my house, I was back home again - problem solved! Writing this review. Geneva Shell is a great neighborhood business. Vahid, what can i say about this GREAT businessman and human being himself. Every time he amazes me more with the kind of treat i receive when i go to get my car serviced. Got my regular oil changed, i was the first customer of the day yesterday (by the way he booked the appointment last minute on Friday night, awesome! ) and i only had a $100 bill and some loose money but not enough to pay the total, i should of known he did not have change...you guys wanna know what his offer was?? He said "no problem, pay me next time" , where do you get that ?? Nowhere! Visiting from out of town when my car shut down...battery dead. Tow truck driver, Juan, recommended Geneva Shell, mechanic Vahid. I was ready to take car into dealership in Serramonte after having been to another dealership in the central valley. Decided to go with my instinct. Vahid looked at my car the next morning; it was the alternator (makes sense since got a new battery last August). Car ready by 11:00 am that same morning. Excellent repair service. Our car died late at night a few blocks from this repair shop and we limped it into parking lot, left keys and a note with service attendant for morning. We got a phone call from Vahid the next morning, he had already hand towed car into garage and diagnosed problem with estimate. Owner Vahid is incredibly kind, patient, honest and clear in his explanations and recommendations. He doesn't cut corners or exploit one's lack of knowledge, prefers to inform, educate and guide you to best options. He could have exploited our situation with our car essentially dying in his parking lot but instead we had a $30 option to drive away a working car, or a $600 option to repair much bigger problems that could have been disastrous down the road. We so trusted his approach and honesty that we opted for the big long term fix. Comparing this repair work to previous identical work with our other SOMA garage, Vahim is cheaper too. Vahid and his team is amazing! I came in this morning to get my car repaired. I have a VW and the plastic cover underneath my car got loose and was scraping the floor whenever I drove. Even though they were busy (their garage was full of cars today), they were able to fix my car in only 15ish minutes. The amazing part? They didn't charge me a single penny!!! They simply helped me unscrew the plastic cover and said that I didn't really need it. It'd be more expensive and more of a hassle because I'd have to replace that piece of plastic because it wasn't repairable. I wanted to get my coolant tank repaired today too but they were too busy so I made another appointment to see them later in the week. THUMBS UP FOR THEM!!! Just had the most helpful service experience in 40 years of living in San Francisco. If your having car troubles and are near the outer Mission I highly recommend this service station. Vahid and his partner were knowledgeable, friendly and fast in fixing the starter for my Pathfinder, even changing a break light they noticed out before I left the station at no charge. Paid under a hundred for the labor which is usually where people are gouged. Good and fair mechanics are hard to come by. This one's a keeper! 5 star read more

I took my car to the SF Toyota dealership recently for a routine checkup & maintenance. They gave me about a half a page of things needing repairing & quoted me $3400 to fix everything. Funny thing was that when I took it to them 6 months earlier, everything was ok, but that's another story by itself. After getting the quote from Toyota, I went to Vahid, showed him the items that Toyota claimed needed repairing & asked what he would charge to fix these things. He gave me a quote of $1900-$2000 to fix everything on the list that Toyota gave me. Vahid fixed eveything & informed me that there were 2 items on the Toyota list that didn't even need fixing. Vahid's final repair bill was exactly what he had quoted me. Plus he even replaced 1 or 2 things that wasn't on the Toyota list, that he said would need replacing in the near future. I really appreciate Vahids' honesty. Shortly after driving off with my car, a hubcap popped off & went rolling down the street but that really wasn't Vahids' fault because the hubcap(plastic one) had a large crack in it prior to Vahid working on my car. I contacted Vahid & he offered to get me a replacement hubcap. This is my first dealing with Vahid, but he seems like he wants to keep his customers happy. I've only had my car back about a week now, but it seems to be running pretty good. I guess only time will tell about the quality of Vahids' work. But I like his 1 yr. guarantee on his repairs. Some repair shops only guarantee their work for 3-6 months. Bottom line is that Vahid saved me $1400 & seemes to be a very honest & competent mechanic. read more

I've read all of the five star reviews. THE'RE ALL TRUE!! I've taken my Audi A4 Quattro there numerous times with excellent results. I took it in several months ago thinking I needed a new battery. Vahid tested the battery (no charge for the test), and said I didn't need a new battery. Saved me $230. Last week I took the A4 in for a tune up before the smog test. Vahid removed and inspected the plugs and injectors and said I didn't need a tune up. Saved me $$$$$$'s more. Car passed smog easly. Audi needed a new windshield washer motor. Dealer would have charged me $300. VAHID installed a new unit for $100! Vahid installed breaks for a fair price and their working perfectly. Stops on a dime, no squeaks. Get this,...this is a service station, not a body shop, but, my Audi had a white "scrape" of unknown origin about 10" X15", on the rear bumper. Looked very ugly (the rest of the body is perfect (black color). Vahid "fixed" this problem! Car looks brand new again! VAHID DIDN'T CHARGE ME A CENT, HONESTLY!! I've been driving 55 years. Vahid is the most knowledgable and honest mechanic I have ever met. He is also very skilled at working on high end cars, (BMW, Audi, Lexus, etc.). read more
