I have been going to Vahid for 7 years and he has always provided me with excellent service for my RAV4. He never tries to oversell a service, always shows me the old parts and recommends other services, like windshield wipers. I think his prices are very reasonable, he's always warm and friendly . I'm moving away in a few months and will miss his service. You could not ask for better service for your car. read more

This review is for Vahid, who is the mechanic that runs the repair shop at this station. I've been going to him for years for routine oil changes and any repairs that have come up. He's been very honest and shares any suggestions for things that may need replacing down the line, but isn't pushy to add to his quote. He is also flexible to work with your schedule. I would recommend checking in with him for any work you may need performed on your ride. read more

Vahid is by far the best mechanic I have ever worked with. He is totally trustworthy. He works with you as a partner. He treats immediate needs but also gives you ideas and recommendations for longer term needs. But those plans are always up to you to follow up on. He never pushes to do work that you don't need. And any work he does is thoroughly explained. We've been using him for nearly 10 years and have been happy with all work from simple oil changes to big repairs. read more

Vahid is a great mechanic and always goes out of his way to provide his customers with the best advice (even when that would result in less money for doing the job). I don't know what it is about this location but If you use your ATM at the pump you may wind up with unauthorized charges. The first I came here I used my card to get gas and then within 30 minutes I had my bank call me regarding charges in another state!!! Yeah, that was not cool. I traced my usage locations and the last place that I used my card was at this location. After getting the issue resolved with the bank and receiving a new card 7 days later I was back on track. However, I came here again to get gas. My thinking was that there was no way lightening would strike twice in the same place, I was wrong. An hour after filling my tank I received another alert on my phone indicating that my there were unusual charges on my account. In using my mobile app I found the charges and once again I had to file I claim and wait on a new card, just annoying. At this point I now just pay cash. I don't know what it is about this location but this is just insane. I now pay with cash because that is just easier and less of a hassle. I do prefer Chevron but Shell is in the neighborhood and on the way to work and everywhere else. My advise is that you pay in CASH when you come here and don't risk having to deal with the bank. Good luck! read more

One star for customer service young guy in his 20's dark short hair at the counter tells me he can't give me change for my 100 I was gonna fill up my tank and I could of bought things in the store so I would of got little change . I understand if you literally can't take any cash but for me it was the rude way he says " I won't take that" and his body language. it was a crispy blue 100 bill I've worked in a bank I know it was real. I don't no why he was not friendly. I normally go to shells but I ended up at chevron down the street which was much nicer. Small things like this matter. read more

Finding someone that you can trust to fix your car with honesty and sincerity is extremely hard to find. I got an oil change 5 years ago and ever since then I've been going to see Vahid to fix my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I trust this man more than my veterinarian hahaha and I am not lying. He works with you, teaches you, and make sure that you are safe and treated fairly. If he is unable to fix it, he has a network of people that can help. He is super friendly and I'm so thankful to have found such a reliable mechanic. read more

This is a place so rare and so valuable that you hate to share it. An honest, extremely competent and innovative mechanic named Vahid is the one man show. He denies ever having been an engineer, but that cannot be true. His knowledge of cars is voluminous and his upbeat and positive personality make for an unusually pleasant repair experience. He also has a network of colleagues in the area that he recommends you to when he lacks the tools or the expertise...that alone is unique. If you have an intractable issue with a car, bring it to his immaculate workplace and trust it to be properly repaired. read more

Ok so I see that on yelp this place is open 24/7store. Hmmm ..... with some common sense like many people I would believe that this place let's you buy gas 24/7 either paying cash or by card( self serve) in most cases bc the people have to take breaks and lunches. Sadly this is not the case. This place shuts down at a certain time literally the entire pumps are shut down not allowing people to buy gas by them self. I have been at many shell stations and never seen any like this. Every time I have to get gas in the morning this place is always shut down. One morning when I was over at a different shell station I got the nerves to ask a worker about shutting down the entire pump system. the response from this worker was " ....... uhhhhhh the guy is probably sleeping in the back somewhere but the pumps should still be working (for self serve)" To tell you the truth the general man I spoke to even admired that he sometimes falls sleeps at work, but at least he know how to leave the pumps on so that people like me can get gas because at the end of the day people simply want to get so their destination without having to hassle over yelling and screaming at someone who's sleeping or have to go to 2 different station trying to get gas. read more

For over 10 years, I have trusted my BMW, my Lexus and all of my cars with Vahid's great service, fair pricing and quick turn-around. I have had my fair share of mechanics over the years and Vahid's the best. He tells you what needs replacing and will tell you equally, what doesn't need repair and when it should be replaced. I trust him and so, he gets ALL of my car repair business. Vahid and his repair shop gets my highest endorsement and I will continue to take all my cars to him for service and send the friends I care about to him, too. This is a great place to get your car fixed. I take all mine and my families cars here and recommend that friends do the same. The owner and mechanic, Vahid, is very honest and will explain everything he has done to your car and will keep the parts he replaced to show you when you pick your ride up. He can always figure out what's wrong. I took an '96 Ford Ranger there that kept on dying on me whilst in motion (steering wheel locked up, engine shut off; very scary going over Devils Slide, thought I might have had to ditch it going over a cliff). He had it for a few days and it runs like new again. He can work on anything, he baby's my Mercedes more than I do. read more

Ah man the guy working at Shell gas station at the service station. I was going to tip him big but he just blow it and lost it. I asked to pretty much three things to make sure the way they would do the oil change will be same way I do for an oil change. I was lazy at the moment because of other work. Also they don't have the right motor oil for your car. Car will run stupidly inefficient. read more

I came here the other day to get my oil changed for my BMW. Since my brother decided to get his changed without me i decided to go to one closer to my house. After arriving I was greeted by Vahid. Wonderful mechanic and great customer service. He did my oil changed and did a courtesy of checking what else was wrong with my car the next day! After getting the diagnosis from him, saying my powersteering tubes were leeking a bit, He orders the parts for me and told me to bring it in the following week. When i brought it in today. He told me that there might be another tube that mights need changing and he will order it to get it fixed with no additional charge! I don't know about you but being as it is my first time bring my car to a shop i had an amazing experience! Will definitely be back for the future for any tune up/oil changes. P.s i ran my car over the curb and he looked at it again if any damages were made. Again excellent service! read more

This is a great repair shop with excellent customer support and service. Vahid is an outstanding and knowledgable mechanic who takes the time to evaluate challenging problems, identify best solutions. He advises his customers costs and likely upcoming repairs which is very helpful if your are trying to decide whether or not to keep your car. He did a great job repairing my breaks and on another occasion spotted and helped me to resolve a coolant leak and advised me of two important PCM error codes at no charge. Vahid really goes the extra mile for his customers. It is good to have such an excellent Mechanic in the neighborhood. Best time to find him is early in the morning. I think his shop generally opens at 6:30 am. read more

Clerk that looks Caucasian and speaks Spanish is the most condescending person I have ever had the displeasure of crossing paths with. Finding a professional, honest mechanic can be very stressful. Many people have horror stories about visiting the wrong place. After our usual mechanic retired and decided to close up shop, we were in need of a new one. Fortunately, we found Vahid at Geneva Shell. This is a great place! The times that I have taken my car to Vahid, the owner and mechanic of the shop, he has gone above and beyond with explanation of repairs and cost. He is very reliable and is fair priced, too! There have been times when he has made me feel like family. If you are looking for an honest mechanic this is where you want to go! read more

I have never wrote a review for a gas station ever! Yet I was so urked today that I am! I visit this station quite a bit since it's in my neighborhood. My family has visited the nice guy in the auto body shop and his service is great. HOWEVER, the woman (mid-aged, chunky, possibly hispanic background- sorry I don't know her name) in the gas station cashier stand needs a serious attitude adjustment because she screamed at me to the point I was ready to slap her silly! It was 6:45AM in the morning, pulled up to the pump, ran my card, hit the octane button as prompted and no gas came out of the pump. Tried to troubleshoot, ran my card again and I was asked to see the cashier. As I was walking into the cashier, another car was trying to pump gas as well and were having trouble. They asked me "no work?" and I replied to them it's not working for me either. Once inside, I nicely told the cashier my pump was not working. She immediately SCREAMED at me saying "Because you HIT DEBIT!" I replied, no, it's a credit card, I hit credit card and she repeatedly screamed at me and argued I hit Debit. Instead of continuing this potentially screaming match, I said can I just pay here? I swiped my credit card inside for a fixed amount. When I returned to my car to pump it didn't work. So I had to back inside and when I said it still didn't work she SCREAMED AGAIN and said "YOU SAID #7!!!!" I'm so puzzled because I had no clue what that meant. I quickly dawned on me she was talking about the pump number and I had no clue what my pump I was parked at. Looking outside the window from her visual I saw that the other was parked at #7 and pumping gas just fine now. I told her that's not my car and she continued to scream "YOU TOLD ME #7! YOU TOLD ME #7!" I had enough at this point and demanded my money back and she screamed "NO! YOU TOLD ME #7!" over and over again. I finally SCREAMED back saying I'm not paying for someone elses gas!! and she continued to deny giving me my money back and saying "you told me #7- hence, expecting me to PAY for someone else's gas when she knew it was not my car. I'm done. Management, you need to simply fire this woman and hire someone else or have a dog to do the job. I'm convinced this woman is not even trainable. read more

I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs any auto repairs. I took my dad's 1999 Dodge Caravan in for service few weeks ago. The mechanic, Vahid, was really nice and friendly. I needed fluid change and an overall inspection of the vehicle. Vahid took my car and changed the oil within 15 minutes. While waiting for the oil to drain out, he inspected the car and told me exactly what service needed to be done. Vahid hooked me up with a deal and took care of my dad's car. Vahid and his partner is honest and tries their best to give the best service possible. Just cause the gas price at this Shell station is pricey, dont let that fool you. The auto service shop offers great service. Thank Vahid for taking care of my dad's minivan. read more

Vahid is an honest mechanic who does great work for a fair price. I cannot even begin to say enough about how good he is!

This review is specifically for Daniela/Danella. I came in this morning to get gas and it wasn't the first time that I am using this branch. The nozzle wasn't working well compared to the previous times I used it so I had to tell the cashier, Daniela. She gave me instructions and so I returned to the station. I haven't started pumping and the machine already said Thank You so I had to ask again if something was wrong with that specific station. Then Daniela makes this irritated facial expression, doesn't even look at me, finishes whatever she was doing behind the cashier, goes out of the store so I had to follow her, goes to my car, did something to the machine and filled my tank. All this while she was stomping her feet and making an irritated facial expression. Did I make you do something you're not supposed to?! Mind you, this happened even before 8 am. How awful! To the management: Train your employees well. Even if people come in and out of a gas station, you still have to be pleasant. That's why is it called customer service! read more
