Though it appeared the owners, were quite active in regards to getting the location to run smoothly. Some hiccups included the pumps, and even diesel at the time. Diesel for example was out of order, and on another visit, pumping at a very very very very low rate (essentially out of service). Some noticeable yet disappointing visual construction yikes include poorly installed veener on the pillars near the pumps. I'm not sure who they hired to do that, but there was some noticeable low grade work done. On a positive note, it's the closest gas station to lytle creek, upon entrance and exit - though to keep the market competitive, just a little south more competition stations exist. So assuming you aren't on e, perhaps look at the cost of the other stations so that you could get the best value for your money. What makes this location unique is the many pumps (assuming they're all function upon your visit) the quick hot food available, liquor, and also presence where limited supply is in general serving the immediate neighborhood. I firmly believe that this location has potential - and I'm confident they can adjust as needed to stay competitive. I'll be sure to revise my review as more trips allow :)

I got off of Sierra Ave. After I turned left, I noticed there was a new gas station about a quarter mile north of where I was originally planning to pump. Well, I was curious so I drove over to this 76. Its gas prices are a little bit higher than its neighboring gas stations. It appears to be a newly renovated gas station. It has about 20 gas pumps if I counted it correctly. It's a good size gas station. It has very bright lights outside. Food mart inside is a tad tight IMHO. They have too many stuff. They also have Krispy Krunchy Chicken available. After pumping gas, I needed to use the restroom. The women's restroom was locked. I asked if anyone was inside and no one answered. What I found odd was that it had a key lock from the outside. However, the men's restroom didn't have it. I didn't feel comfortable so I left. Anyway, if you're coming from the north side and you can wait a quarter of a mile, then I would recommend you pump at the other gas stations to save a little bit of money. Otherwise, pump away. You may like this newer facility better. Happy 76'ing!

We pulled to the side of the road to check and find out right tire was torn to shreds. Since we just brought the RV few weeks ago, we had no tools, jacks and not even an ordinary screwdriver. Around us there were the only farm, no person insight and no car on the road has stopped to help us. We called to a local tow company and they referred us to these super guys at Tire Zone! They responded immediately to our call. Miguel said that he would come out to help us change the tire on the road in 15 minutes. Within 10 minutes they came to the rescue! We were saved! Less than through 25 minutes we were on the way! The guys are working quickly and efficiently, at the highest level. Big thank you to Miguel and the guys!

We were in a parking lot, as we pulled forward to leave, the ball joint on front driver side broke. The Payless drive came, he had full access to tow from the front or the back. He hooked it up from the back and just dragged it up the flatbed. You could see that the whole front was being damaged, even the drive got out to see, but decided to pull it up anyway. When the mechanic checked it out. he said the ball joint had broken, but the axe was also broken and the oils pan was smashed. He asked what happened to cause all the damage. I told him what had happened. The mechanic said the town guy said we had been driving down the road at full speed. THAT WAS A LIE. The mechanic said, MOST OF THE DAMAGE ($2,650) WAS CAUSED BY THE IMPROPER TOW. The manager at Payless said she would check with the owner. After a month of follow up calls, they would not even refund the $110 tow fee! I WILL NEVER USE PAYLESS TOWING AGAIN, they are CARELESS and UNPROFESSIONAL, they CAUSED MY CAR MOST OF THE DAMAGE!

If I finished a repair faster than what the book recommends it should take, they let the vehicle sit outside till that time has been reached and then charge the customer for that shop time, so as I am repairing another vehicle, the one I just finished previously is still being charged shop time sitting outside or in another repair bay. Owner is very dictating and doesn't like to be educated on something. He expects you to do it his way, not the correct way. He likes to be the king of shortcuts to save money while charging the public a premium. The technicians themselves are not bad mechanics, they are just told and forced by the owner to take shortcuts otherwise they either get let go or have their weekly hours reduced.

After reading the lastest review of these bozo's I wanted to write the update I meant to do before…read more In reference to where they said they had to "removal/replace the Fan Clutch" - I found out later as I went to investigate an air conditioner issue that arose after their service, it turns out not only did they not remove/replace the Fan Clutch but it had in fact been ripped from the a/c unit when the broken fan belt caught it. Something they would have seen if they had to actually 'remove/replace it". I was actually going to take the time to sue them in small claims court over this issue but since it was 300 miles from where I live, I opted not to. Now I wish I did as this type of consumer rip-off seems to be a pattern for them andthey need to be held accountable. I did report them to the BBB and after the BBB contacted them, TEC repair refused to correct their errors and over billings.
