Thank you Sebastian for helping me with some tire pressure issues. Quick and friendly service! Quality job and he did it all for free of charge. read more

Rates keep going up and up. $50 to mount and balance a tire. Also scratched 3 of my rims. You can find better work for cheaper in town.

Very quick with prompt service and good prices. I might be able to shop harder out of town but then the free tire rotations would not happen. read more

Excellent, great service good prices. Fast and effective your repair. Good job.

I got my 2021 Ford escape in for a tire rotation. They have always done good for me, and I have bought tires from them in the past. I got my oil serviced immediately after- from another place, and they said my air pressure in all four tires were low, and they had to fill them up to correct pressure. So annoying, since I just left Motion Tire. I called them, and they said they 'don't check air pressure in the summer, only in the winter'. I said that does not matter, and they should have checked the tire pressure and filled it correctly! So Rediculous why they would think its okay to not fill them! We have a long road trip coming up, and is why I took the car to them. I may just go someplace else next time if that is their company policy. Not assuring to me. read more

Excellent and quick service! It was hassle free and made me feel less anxious when I needed to get my car fixed.

We are impressed with the professionalism and friendly service of Motion Tire and Wheel. They have taken care of our tire needs for many years, with great product value and good prices. We have always been happy with them. read more

Needed some insight on an RV tire that wasn't holding air. Andrew checked it out and the valve extension was loose. He tightened it up and gave me his informed opinion about the condition of my tires. Very thankful for his time and knowledge. read more

While driving to Tahoe, we drove over a railroad track and heard a noise. Then about in 100 ft, got a low tire pressure...flat tire! Looked online to see where the closest tire shop was, and I found Motion Tire and Wheel about 43 miles away. Got there about 15 mins after they opened. Unfortunately the hole was too large to patch, and we had to get a new tire. Had 3 others in front of us but by 10am we were back on the road. Sky, the office manager, has fantastic customer service! Hopefully you'll never need to get a tire repaired, but if you're in the Ridgecrest, Ca area, this is the place to come to! read more

Called in in Thursday to order some tires they said they would call me as soon as the tires were in; Friday @9am I get a call the tires are in! I drop the car off and hang out in the park for a second and my car was ready before lunch. Smooth transaction. Thank you read more

Got a nail in my tire right before Christmas and was recommended to go to motion as I'm still kind of new to the area and had no idea where to go. Called on my break to ask about price as I was nearly broke because of Christmas and was quoted around $15 which was great, I took my car in on my lunch and they repaired the tire, mounted it and put the spare back in the trunk all within maybe 10 mins and I was told have a great day... when I mentioned I still needed to pay the lady smiled at me and said merry Christmas no charge have a great day!! I wanted to cry!! They didn't have to do that at all but I know they have a customer for as long as we live in Ridgecrest!!! Thank you soo much read more

We have been purchasing our tires from Motion Tire and Wheel since we moved here in 2019 and have always had good service. We recommend them even more now since Sky and Tony took such good care of my mother when she had trouble with her tire. So grateful to them! read more

I live in San Diego and came to Ridgecrest for Thanksgiving and some Off roading. My off road flat bed split a tire so we called Motion tire. They got me in right away, very fair price, friendly staff. I couldn't be happier. I think I'll tow my camp trailer here and have them install new tires on it as well. read more

Thank you Motion Tire for the Speedy service and awesome staff. They're super helpful and I highly recommend them!

Not being from Ridgcrest I will say... this place is the friendliest most respectful and trustworthy service when it comes to dealing with your tires. They have helped me numerous times from flat tire repairs , rotations, to the purchase of new tires. I highly recommend new customers to try Motion Tire. I've been meaning to write up a review but most of the employees that work here in the garage area are awesome and great at their job and don't skip any steps when it comes to your vehicle. Axel was the last guy to rotate and inflate my Jeep wheel and I give him and the rest of the guys 10 stars if I could. Thanks for your service!!! read more

Motion Tire and Wheel - These 2 guys are hard workers for sure!! - Tires Near Me - Ridgecrest, California

This review is way overdue but better late than never. These people are rude as all hell. I went in over a year ago to get some information on tires and was actively ignored by all staff behind the counter. Turned out to be a good thing since I found a great local shop with fair pricing and friendly service! read more

Motion has ways done good work, but this time I had them mount and balance 4 new tires. The left rear tire valve stem was not tightened properly. Twenty minutes later, I got back into my truck to go to the store and the in cab display showed 19 lbs in the right tire. I got out to look and gauged the pressure, it registered 40 psi. I looked at my left rear tire and it was almost flat. Hmmmmm, I put 40pzi in the left rear tire and it registered 40 psi now on the right sensor. Not sire how they managed that. I would have given them 5 stars, but this one is just them not paying attention to what they were doing. Taking it back Monday when they open to have them fix sensor issue. My rating could go either way depending on how they treat this situation. read more

7/12/21 Motion Tire & Wheel Despite the circumstances of being stranded in RidgeCrest, CA after getting a flat tire on the 395 South heading home to Sylmar, CA... I had a great experience here. This 30yr family owned business seems honorable and honest when it comes servicing visitors who are stressed, concerned and worried about how they will be able to get their family home... SAFELY! Even though they did not have my specific Toyota Sienna SE tire in stock, they quickly offered to order tires for me and have them delivered they following morning. No other tire shop in this area offer to do this for me. We need more honest businesses like this in the LA area. I hope no one ever has to deal with a flat tire on the side of the highway, but if they do... I hope you find a business like this. Clean shop. Many workers on staff. Great Professional Customer Service and the business seems to be operated smoothly. Highly Recommend! *On a side note: out of all the places to have my tire ordered from, they get deliveries from a Tire's Warehouse that is 132 miles away BUT only 1800 feet from my HOME (where we wanted to go) ‍ read more

I called ahead to make sure someone was there to talk to about the tires I wanted information on. The people who work there are totally ignorant. I told them that what they said didn't even make sense...they told me to have a nice day. I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone. A total waste of my time. read more

Very considerate and dont ever make me feel like im interrupting them or my concerns are annoying. Normally, I have a great experience at Motion Tire. I have purchased tires there and generally had a good experience. This time I was not acknowledged at all by outside staff. After standing around waiting I came inside to notify the front desk I simply needed air in my tires (tires purchased there) and I tried to explain that the guys outside don't know that I need air because nobody acknowledged me. Front desk staff rudely told me, "That is because they are busy" and I'd have to wait. Yeah. I get they are busy. But somebody is going to have to tell them what I need. I didn't appreciate the bad service or attitude. read more

I just asked them on phone if they can install tires on forged wheels, the girl didn't even know what a forged wheel was (!), said "if your not comfortable with us putting the tires on, you can go somewhere else!" I said I would, and she hung up. Extremely poor customer service. Huge echo on the phone, was hard to talk to her. Definitely go somewhere else where they know what they are doing, especially if you have wheels that are decent. read more

20 plus years as a customer. Never a bad experience. Competitive pricing. Friendly staff.

Fast, efficient, professional service. I came in to replace a tire after I had to put on my spare.

We stopped by here because our RV had a low tire warning. The people who owned this shop were super friendly and helped us out right away. Great family owned business with excellent, friendly service. read more

Five stars all the way!!! My Camaro got a flat while I was in town visiting family for New Years. They're special high performance run flat tires that people don't normally carry. While another local tire place tried to take advantage of my need to fix it quick by charging me premium pricing, Motion Tire came through honest and fair. I showed up after they ordered the tires and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Super friendly staff and superb customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for tire services!!! read more

I took our van into Motion Tire and Wheel and I asked them if they could rotate and balance the tires on our van, and I mentioned that we did get the tires at their business. They were so very nice! I came in with my friend and they rotated and balanced the tires so quickly, in only about 20 minutes. And I asked how much I owed them and the girl behind the counter said they weren't charging anything because we had purchased the tires there. They are very nice and professional there and always provide great service! We will always keep bringing them our business. Very impressive! read more

Just finished getting my car serviced here. I'm from out of town and got two nails stuck on a tire. Needless to say the psi in the tire quickly started dropping and my concern quickly started escalating. This just happened to be the nearest tire shop so i made my way over. Best decision ever. These guys were polite and efficient. One guy helped me with the tire (which took all of 10 minutes). Another guy noticed that my front license plate was crooked (thanks Carmax) and offered to fix it up for me. He was tedious, meticulously measuring the plate and getting it in the right position before he drilled two holes to keep it in place. I tried to tip but they wouldn't take it. These guys are the real deal. If you want fantastic service then you've found the right place. Don't know if I'll ever be back up in Ridgecrest again but if I ever have an issue I'll be back again. read more

No one there was wearing a mask on the day the US hit the peak number of Covid cases per day. Avoid this place if you believe masks work.

Appreciative service, reasonable prices, good on-hand stock of tires and wheels. Fast service too.

The story of how I got the flat is a good one (off-roading with my R-Pod trailer in Death Valley)... but isn't the topic for this review. Being a long way from home and somewhat stranded (I had a spare) I was looking at replacing all four tires (all wheel drive and partially warn). I called Motion around 3:00 from DV and they said they'd have a set by 10:30-11:00 the next morning. When I arrived at 10:45 they had the tires and started right away. I was back on the road in less than 2 hours! Great service and prices! I highly recommend Motion Tire & Wheel read more

Great deal with friendly professional service. Very knowledgeable. They carry all major brands and plenty of options.Highly recommend!

Fast. Friendly. Very helpful! They've taken good care of my vehicles many times over the years, so I finally decided to write a review. Had a blowout on 395 on my 5th wheel toy hauler and the body shop that repaired the damage the blown tire caused recommended Motion Tire because the tires were original on the trailer from 2005 and that I should not chance driving home on these tires. Service was very good and the staff was quite friendly but unless you're stuck in ridgecrest, I'd pass and do some shopping. I'd called around in ridgecrest and Motion was best; but they checked my trucks tires and said I needed to replace all 6 and quoted me over $1,200 for a set of yokohamas. This seemed a bit high. Desert Truck Service in Mojave recommended a set of Hercules tires for $616 for the 6- maybe not as good as the yokohamas but still a good tire. and would have been $333 for the 4 trailer tires I paid Motion $518 (and Motion had quoted 490 out the door) read more
