The name no longer matches their services. I don't even come here for 1 thing anymore. Used to get gas, snacks, $ and payment services, and smokes, 3-4 visits a week, like others once did. Lucky that their are more lower priced places but sucks that they are further away but the customer service and services available make it worth going to...a real 1 Stop for everything Gas & Markey

However, most liquor stores are far behind in carrying good cachaca so I won't hold it against them. The dude at the cash register is a complete and total hoot. I love people with personality that appear to love their job or at least pretend that they do. He made me laugh and that goes a long way in my book. If you need ANYTHING in Ridgecrest, come here. One of our buddies wants to have a Shabbat evening at the event, and while he's Jewish, he's not ALL THAT Jewish, so he's into joking around. Shabbat made me think of Labatt's Beer... we could have a Labatt Shabbat. He loved the idea so the hunt was on. This is a hard beer to find. After checking in to every place in town, we wandered into the Beer Cave. They didn't have it either, but a member of the staff (and so far the staff has been awesome) said The Guy could order it, if we came in the morning to talk to The Guy. I cannot, that just doesn't fit my schedule, and so we were bereft of Labbat. NOW... the Labatt website is incredible and it show what stores have the product and how much. It said Sage Mart had two units. We hopped in the Beer-Mobile and headed to the Mart. There it was on the shelf, in its beautiful blue packaging. I promptly bought both. I can only assume that The Staff talked to The Guy and he bought a couple six packs. Just today, I checked the Labatt website again, and it said there was more at the Sage Mart. I just bought their last six pack. I needed one for myself, before the Labatt Shabbat. Labatt Blue is DELICIOUS. It reminded me of drinking Moosehead as a lad, except it didn't have that moose-fart flavor. It is excellent. Anyway, that's my story. Good mini-mart.

When I see this in Yelp reviews I wonder: what were you doing? Well, I will tell you: what I was doing was asking about the "out of order" sign on the restroom that he had pointed me to. In fact, I asked a couple times because he was not looking at me or acknowledging that I had asked a question. Then, suddenly, true yelling: can't you see I am working? You may ask: was he working? If by working, you mean motionless at attention behind the counter, as if waiting for a customer, then yes. But wouldn't a question from a customer count as a work task, then? Look, I know that customers can be annoying but I did nothing that warranted being yelled at. Perhaps he didn't like the look of me.
