At TIS Gasoline, there's only one pump and NO 91 gas. Which makes a big difference for us motorcyclists. So, we went here to KWIK Serve that does offer 91 gas and has 4 pumps. Keep in mind- you will not have cell service here. But, staff inside are super friendly and chatted with us for a bit. As did some of the locals & other folks passing by. There's one gender neutral bathroom that is really clean & smells like Lysol.

Shabbat made me think of Labatt's Beer... we could have a Labatt Shabbat. He loved the idea so the hunt was on. This is a hard beer to find. After checking in to every place in town, we wandered into the Beer Cave. They didn't have it either, but a member of the staff (and so far the staff has been awesome) said The Guy could order it, if we came in the morning to talk to The Guy. I cannot, that just doesn't fit my schedule, and so we were bereft of Labbat. NOW... the Labatt website is incredible and it show what stores have the product and how much. It said Sage Mart had two units. We hopped in the Beer-Mobile and headed to the Mart. There it was on the shelf, in its beautiful blue packaging. I promptly bought both. I can only assume that The Staff talked to The Guy and he bought a couple six packs. Just today, I checked the Labatt website again, and it said there was more at the Sage Mart. I just bought their last six pack. I needed one for myself, before the Labatt Shabbat. Labatt Blue is DELICIOUS. It reminded me of drinking Moosehead as a lad, except it didn't have that moose-fart flavor. It is excellent. Anyway, that's my story. Good mini-mart.

We came across this gas station and not only that. We were able to find some hot chicken and thee best potato wedges ever. I believe Chester's Chicken is a big deal in Trona with the small towns residents and travelers. The few folks working there were so cheerful. I just wish we asked a few more questions from the locals. It's always a plus. We filled up on gas , sat and ate in our vechile not only that we went back in for some honey buttered biscuits.
