I placed an order on the screen (an Italian sub) and waited for it to be ready. Despite it being busy, the wait time for my sandwich was just about 15 minutes. Everything was correctly added to my sandwich, which is impressive since I asked for pretty much everything on it. The sandwich was delicious, really hit the spot on a long ride back home. I guess some folks here had trouble with the customer service, but my visit was pretty seamless since I opted to self check out. Not a bad Wawa.

By doing so you go through some very rural areas that has very sparse commercial areas. I was really in need of the facilities as I was nearing my bursting point and I had not seen a spot to stop for some time. A quick search via GPS shown that this was coming up on the road I was on. I was pleasantly surprised and delighted and made it my next stop on my travels to here. Pulling up to the intersection that this establishment sit felt a bit dystopian. Your driving through farm fields and then all the sudden you see a behemoth of a gas station. A rundown, very busy gas station. This gas station felt like it was the only one for miles around (and quite possibly could have been). Regular fuel is available, but be mindful in the lot as they also offer diesel which means heavy truck traffic in the lot as well. I wasn't here for fuel, I was here for a pit stop of my own. I went inside and headed towards the restrooms and to my surprise there was a line for the men's room. I guess everyone has the idea to stop here while travelling these roads. The hold up was that the one toilet was out of toilet paper and it had to be changed in order for the person holding up the line to use it, and we had to wait for the female employee to change it out. Along with the one toilet there was a urinal. Once that was changed out the line started moving. After using the facilities I came out into the store to browse around for a few things. It was so dim in here like this location had been standing for years and years. It felt almost like it was another gas station before becoming a Royal Farms. I made a few selections and went to the register. I hate that in any RF you go to you feel like you are imposing on them when you need an item from behind the counter. That's exactly what I had to do here. I had to interrupt a conversation to get the item I wanted. And I was still forced to use the self checkouts. For the amount of items that I grabbed I thought I would have automatically gotten a bag, but had ask for one. I was happy to leave this area once I was done. I did pass it on my way back to DC, but I made sure to skip it that time.

Dear Royal Farms Corporate Management,…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an incident at your Royal Farms location at 2692 Tobin Crossing, Bel Air, MD 21015. I purchased approximately $25 of gasoline (about 5 gallons). After completing the transaction, I noticed that the expected mileage/fuel information was not reflected in my vehicle as it normally would, and I believed there may have been a problem with the fuel pump or the transaction. I approached the manager, Zoe, to explain the problem and ask for assistance. Unfortunately, I felt that I was treated very disrespectfully. She told me that the receipt was all she could provide, that she could not do anything for me, and that I should call the company myself. She then left the receipt on the table and walked away without making a meaningful effort to help resolve the issue. I understand that there may be procedures for handling fuel-pump or payment concerns. However, I believe customers should be treated respectfully and given reasonable assistance when they report a potential problem with a fuel purchase. I am asking Royal Farms corporate management to please review this incident, including the fuel-pump transaction and the conduct of the manager, and let me know how this matter will be addressed. Thank you for taking my complaint seriously. I would appreciate a response from corporate management.
