I will NEVER ever visit an Valvoline instant oil change establishment again…read more 2 weeks ago anticipating a weekend of driving for graduations (totaling over 500 miles) I stopped to get my oil changed. It was almost 7 pm ( I had to work late this particular evening) & I was glad I got in before they closed but I noticed that the attendant was less than happy about a customer coming so close to quitting time The oil change after that point was uneventful & I was grateful to have gotten an oil change Sunday as I was driving back I heard a horrible sound , stopped the car & the undercarriage cover was hanging partially off I called a friend in the area who had his mechanic come and take a look and he told me that 5 of the screws used to secure the undercarriage shield had never been put back on the car 5 screws !!! I called the 800 number for Valvoline as soon as I got home and was assured that someone would call me in the morning Well about 8 am the next day a manager called me and told me that he wanted me to bring in my car to "see if that was in fact what had happened because he hadn't seen the video of that transaction yet " & that his Regional manager took these things very seriously I suggested that he look at the video and call me back He NEVER called me back I have waited 2 weeks before I posted this review & neither has his boss

When I said no he continued with why at least both front tires should be replaced. I was born at night but not last night. Went to Mr Tire down the street. They looked at all four tires but said nothing but we can have it done this afternoon. When I picked it up I asked, is the any scenario where I should've replaced all four tires or even just both front tires? The rep looked at me funny shaking her head saying, no, they only have 19k miles on them and they're re in good shape.

Because I was recovering from surgery and unable to drive, Will went out of his way to pick the truck up from me. Beyond doing excellent work, he is just a genuinely pleasant young man to deal with. When I asked questions about the diagnosis of my truck, he didn't seem confident in his answers, which didn't inspire much trust. My biggest issue was that they attempted to upsell repairs that turned out to be unnecessary. I was told I needed a full ignition coil replacement for around $1,000 because they couldn't determine which cylinder was misfiring. That explanation didn't make much sense to me, so I got a second opinion from another shop. They quickly identified the specific misfiring cylinder and confirmed that replacing all of the ignition coils wasn't necessary. Based on my experience, I'd recommend being cautious and getting a second opinion before approving expensive repairs here. Friendly staff, but I left feeling like unnecessary work was being recommended.
