My son was looking for a somewhat unique vehicle, and we contacted McQueen Classics about a car…read morethat we were interested in following an auction in which the reserve was not met. After a brief conversation with Peter G., we agreed on a reasonable price (which was actually less that the reserve). I was sent a bill of sale, which I signed and returned, and I arranged to wire a payment the next day. It was actually somewhat startling to us how quickly all this happened. Because we were not local to Delaware, we arranged a pick up date for the vehicle. In the mean time, we went back and forth with Peter on "details" related to the transaction. Peter didn't always answer my e-mails or texts right away, which is understandable...he is a very busy man...but whenever I called him, he always had time to talk to me and always was able to get an answer to my question. When we picked up the vehicle, Peter took the time to show us around McQueen Classics and we really enjoyed talking to him about cars in general, and the car we had purchased in particular. It was obvious that Peter had a lot of pride in the business that he had worked very hard to establish! It turns out that Peter used to live in the same town that we currently do, and, for many years, had worked at a local car dealership where my parents had bought several of their cars from over the years. There were some other amazing connections that I had with Peter that I discovered while talking with him during our visit. Suffice it to say that it truly IS a small world! Anyway, the last thing left in our transaction, after we picked up the car and signed the "paperwork" was for Peter to send us the title signed by the original owner, so that we could register it in our state of residence. Because the vehicle was sold on consignment, Peter had to get a signature from the original owner; which he did the next week, and then sent us the title. As a final courtesy, Peter put us in touch with the previous owner of the vehicle and that helped us a great deal in terms of getting some history on how the car was maintained prior to our ownership. The former owner was extremely friendly and VERY helpful (and patient) with our many inquiries! I would say that this was about as good of a buying experience as one could wish to have with a car dealership and McQueen classics is TRULY a unique place! If you are interested in unique vehicles, this is the place to look!

This is a summary of the saga with Tilton auto Body on Fire Road.dated 2 april 2026. Upon careful…read morescrutiny of the overspray that was removed by my Detailer . It was noticed that the door alignment was off due to the passenger door had a new skin put on it to correct the body damage as a result of the incident. Chris the owner had his mechanic take the car in an attempt to rectify the situation. 10 minutes later the car was returned with an adjustment being made after a week it was noticed that there was possible movement . A call to chris led to an appointment being made 2 weeks hence at 11:00 am where the situation would be addressed and a check for $100.00 would be issued to cover the additional detailers fee of 4 weeks prior at approx 10;00 am on the 16th of april a message was received that the mechanic who was suppose to readjust the door had called out sick. with that I showed up at 11;00 am to pick up the check that had taken approx 3 weeks to issue due to the accountant not being in attendance. I then told Chris the I would not be returning the vehicle for any adjustments or claims about their Lifetime warranty on repairs. My advice to who may read this. all you will get from Tilton Is someone with empty promises and excuses.I am 84 years old and have been around the Block. and in order to avoid any additional Stress I have decide to walk and to not deal with nefarious merchants who most likely had their employees post reviews.

Everyone in the office was great to deal with and the repair was completed on schedule. The repair was done beautifully and they handled all supplemental repairs with the insurance company. They also specialize in Lexus repairs which was an added bonus.
