It was almost 7 pm ( I had to work late this particular evening) & I was glad I got in before they closed but I noticed that the attendant was less than happy about a customer coming so close to quitting time The oil change after that point was uneventful & I was grateful to have gotten an oil change Sunday as I was driving back I heard a horrible sound , stopped the car & the undercarriage cover was hanging partially off I called a friend in the area who had his mechanic come and take a look and he told me that 5 of the screws used to secure the undercarriage shield had never been put back on the car 5 screws !!! I called the 800 number for Valvoline as soon as I got home and was assured that someone would call me in the morning Well about 8 am the next day a manager called me and told me that he wanted me to bring in my car to "see if that was in fact what had happened because he hadn't seen the video of that transaction yet " & that his Regional manager took these things very seriously I suggested that he look at the video and call me back He NEVER called me back I have waited 2 weeks before I posted this review & neither has his boss

He showed me exactly where the problems were (which could be seen once my car was up on the lift) and we went over what repairs would be needed as well as a good estimate. The next day everything was completed and the wheels had been aligned (with a diagram from the machine showing the before and after). Once they saw the service was covered under my tire contract--which includes lifetime rotations, balancing, and repairs--they told me I'd have to leave the car and they'd get to it "when they could." Despite multiple calls for updates, my car wasn't ready until nearly seven hours later. The worst part: the slow leak wasn't repaired. The nail was still in the tire; they had simply moved the tire from the rear to the front. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I won't be purchasing tires or using their repair services again. P.S. No canned response from Mr. Tire is necessary.
