I figured as much that this would be the best place to get these items than going to the national chain. At the time of my visit they were milling the parking lot in preparation of repaving it. That was not fun to drive over and it was not fun to figure out a parking space. Walking across it was just as bad, worse for the employees tasked with retrieving the carts and returning them to the store. Inside I just kind of wondered around. I wasn't looking for anything in particular. I just came to browse and grab whatever I wanted. I knew I wasn't going to do a full grocery order, but I was going to buy what I needed to survive a week in a hotel room. It was easy to shop in here when I had no set list. I wasn't in a hurry. I was just browsing and picking items I wanted to snack on. Selection was plentiful, and the options were great. Making my way around the store, killing time, and then to the checkouts. The only thing I was upset about was that there were no anvils for purchase. My expectations were shattered.

They had a great selection and we got a type of salmon I'd never heard of. It came out great. It's a small place but they have a good amount of products. Pick up went off without a hitch it was all packed in an insulated travel bag that can be reused. We received a 3.8 lb boneless sliced Carando brown sugar ham, cheddar cheese scalloped potatoes, honey sage roasted carrots, 6 dinner rolls, and an 18 oz strawberry bar cake. There have been multiple occasions when we have found a worker and asked them to "check in the back" for something and they have always been accommodating and frequently found what we needed so at least there is that.... It is a small store and for the amount of people it serves I think that is part of the problem. Also the store always seems to be in disarray and a bit messy and I don't like that for my grocery shopping experience. It is a very busy location during the summer so maybe that might add to their issues. I recently discovered the Aldi in Milford and will be shopping there from now on as it is only an additional five minutes for us to drive but a much better store. While I love Aldi and their prices and their food this store needs some serious love.

The store was very well stocked and had lots of small containers of different types of salads and sides at decent prices. I like that they were small so I could choose a few to see which ones I like the best. They also take Apple Pay which is always a plus for me. They only have two check out lines but they have two people working both registers so it moved pretty quickly. Great store and worth a visit.
