I finally got the chance to stop by as I was in need of some fresh produce and I am so glad I did. We bought some fresh corn that was absolutely delicious. Plus some fresh produce for grilling and it was all wonderful. It is a great little store, very small but pretty much has about anything you could need. The store was very well stocked and had lots of small containers of different types of salads and sides at decent prices. I like that they were small so I could choose a few to see which ones I like the best. They also take Apple Pay which is always a plus for me. They only have two check out lines but they have two people working both registers so it moved pretty quickly. Great store and worth a visit. read more

I live close by so I stop by fairly often. They have a very good selection for the size of the store. They also carry a variety of local products. Just don't let the cashiers get to you they are often very rude. read more

I adore this little store. We have a house in Lewes and I bike to Lloyds weekly, usually after the Farmers Market. Their salads are amazing as are their rotisserie chicken. This great, not so little grocery store has been a staple in Lewes for decades and I never miss it when I'm in town visiting my relatives. It's old-fashioned in a great way. The staff are tremendously friendly and helpful. It's way better then shopping at a chain. The place is stocked full of things you need on a daily basis. Outstanding small market in Lewes. Don't bother packing food etc for the beach or the state park campground, everything you need is here. Friendly and incredibly well stocked for a small market. Forget the big box stores on DE 1 and all the traffic there. This gem is both convenient and well worth supporting. read more

This local grocery store is like stepping back in time- reminds me of the 1950s. Especially this snowy morning that I decided to check it out. There's a small bakery in a cozy corner offering local baked goods and cold cuts. I picked up the last 2 packs of their own Lloyd's ground pork sausage marked "our own homemade". The homemade sides looked good as well, and will probably try some next time. Then I saw Lewes Dairy milk, bought the last chocolate half gallon just to compare with Rehoboth Dairy milk. Sadly, Lewes Dairy chocolate milk was very disappointing. It was watery and not creamy at all. So I'll stick to Rehoboth Dairy's thick, creamy and fresh chocolate milk that comes in the glass bottles. Update: thank you to Douglas Jones of Lewes Dairy for having me try their WHOLE chocolate milk. It shows they care about their customers and their products. The first one was actually 1% which explains the watery texture. Lewes Dairy whole chocolate milk was thick, creamy and chocolatey without being too sweet. Highly recommend it if you're craving some fresh, local milk. The friendly butcher and the gentleman who kindly opened the door for me on my way out were so pleasant. Overall, it's nice to have a local grocery store with an old world feel. read more

We came to Lewes for a family vacation for a week during Covid19. We brought most of our food from home, but stopped at Lloyd's (we didn't want to deal with the crowds at the chains) on our way in. Holy cow. Not only did we stock up on fresh chicken, ground meat, eggs, etc, but we also picked up some tasty deli salads and cheeses. When a local restaurant failed us, Lloyd's saved us with their amazing rotisserie chickens and (again) salads. Get the spinach, smoked Gouda, red pepper and ziti - you will not be disappointed. LOVED this place!!! It was like a blast from the past! Woulda been what a full fledged grocery store in the 40s or 50s would have looked like. The sweetest corn, the freshest vegetables and produce. Their roasted chicken smelled delicious. However I did not get a chance to try it. Definitely recommend anyone visiting Rehoboth to stop here and grab the corn they sell here. Pretty good overall. If I lived two blocks away, I'd be there all the time, but as I live in RB, and have many choices, Lloyd's will be the place when I need something specific, Milton sausage, pork roll, specials. Aisles are very cramped, service at the register was very very mechanical, no greeting, no thank you, the cashier didn't even look up at us while we said "thanks, bye!". A local business, especially in an area that is so friendly, should go out of their way. I've read other reviews here that mention indifferent service here, now I understand. read more

Really cute market. Deli. Fresh breads. Staples. Great selection of local produce (which is what we were there for). Blueberries, several varieties of peaches, nectarines, plums, 3 summer squash varieties, the BEST corn I've EVER had, tomatoes, etc. The cashier could have been friendlier.
