I thought the produce was pretty expensive relative to other produce markets in the beach areas - but I guess it is more convenient to the beach goers that most. Also, it was not clear to me if any of the produce was local - since the only thing marked local on the signs were the apples. For that reason, I didn't buy produce. I did buy 2 salad dressings that sound delish. And a mustard that we bought friday and have almost finished by Sunday night haha. I will def be back to buy more of that mustard!!

The new addition of products from Alo's Italian Foods is a welcome addition. While Elmer's is also a farm market and garden center, it's main appeal to me now is that it is a specialty food store. Great pre-picked Apple selection that you can mix and match for pie making. If you have a season pass (I do) you get to bring someone for free once, 10% off all purchases in the store, and a free $10 pumpkin. Beautiful orchard, I'm sure when it's peak season it is a blast to pick from and take pictures in! The Cider and cider slushie was by far the best part in my opinion. Cons: Not much for little littles but that was expected. All the good apples are super high up at the end of the season and they don't supply pickers. Tons of bees because of fallen/rotting apples. If you have a bee sting allergy (we do not), I would not opt to pick in the orchard. Hardly anything gluten free in the store except for some tiny GF apple donuts (not made by them). A little commercial and busy for my liking. I'm just used to smaller family farms where I'm originally from in MD. The ice cream was underwhelming. It's not theirs, it's from somewhere in PA.

For my meal, I had the daily special: a tuna melt sandwich served with lettuce, tomato, and a side bag of sea salt kettle-cooked potato chips, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. We both agreed that we will definitely be back for lunch in the garden whenever the weather permits.
