I called the local Brooklyn Pep Boys, they said I'd have to come in and get a ticket and then they would see me to get wiper fluid in about 90 min from the time I get the ticket. Am I in an alternative universe?! What is happening? So I just randomly called this Sunoco and a super friendly guy answered the phone. He said "no problem. Come on over," or something like that. I drove there and he freaking greeted me without me getting out of the car. He could obviously tell I was the frantic girl w/ a wiper fluid issue. I don't know squat about cars. I asked if I could see were he pulled the lever to release the hood, and my request for a tiny car maintenance lesson was granted. He put the wiper fluid in; he did it all super quick. The whole thing was beautiful. In & out in less than 5 min and customer service is 100%. THIS is where I'll always stop on my way to Costco now. Kudos!

FYI: it is off of a street that is VERY busy and had a median running down the middle (Flatbush Ave), so you may have to do a U-turn to get into the lot if you're coming from the wrong side. Keep in mind they also offer tire service. If your pressure gets low they have an air hose. Easy access and you can pump the tires fast for 75 cents (DIY). But if your tire is flat or damaged you must come here. Off to the side there's a little garage. The guy who works it is a magician. He jacked up our car took the tire off and within ten minutes he came out after reattaching the liner which had slipped off and caused a slow leak. All the cabbies know this is the place to go to fix your tires. Don't go to the car dealership, just go here. Get this - they charged 20 bucks!

They let me borrow a tank of air, under the stern condition that I bring it right back. After filling up my tire, I brought the car to them and returned the air tank. A mechanic jacked up my car and removed the tire, identifying a puncturing screw as the culprit. After yanking out the foreign object he quickly patched the tire, then charged me a very reasonable amount of money for the work. It's hard to imagine a better outcome. I appreciate the empathy they showed for my plight and the trust they extended to me. Way cheaper than buying a new tire, and the speed of service was terrific.
