As I was out on a long run tonight I needed some water and as I passed by this gas station I noticed the group of vending machines on site. Whoa! $3 for a bottle of Aquafina. This gas station doesn't deserve to be open. What they did was nothing short of a crime. I'm filing a complaint with the city. Tonight I went to get gas as I was on reserve with 10 miles left of range (according to the info display on my dashboard). I pull up to pump my gas and the guy tells me it's full service... strange in NYC, but okay. Then I see that a price of Premium 93 is $7.79/gallon. In fact, Regular 87 was $6.70! I say "Wow, with these prices, just give me $10 and I'll make it to another gas station." After a very brief moment, he ensures me I'm all set. However, when I turn my car on... the dash read "Low Fuel," the bar hadn't even moved and the info display read "Range 10 miles." Furious, yet calm, I tell the man "hey did you even put any gas in my car? It's at the same level I came in at!" And he completely ignored the fact and tells me to get cheaper gas elsewhere. Who really gives a gas station a bad review???! Anyway, let me preface this review by saying that if we weren't running low on gas, I would not have paid the extra change to get gas in the city. The gas station was well lit and there is one lane near the kiosk that is full service. There was an employee with a vest on waiting to pump anyone's gas who didn't mind paying about $2.00 extra per gallon for this service. The worst! Unfortunately one of the few gas stations left in the downtown area on the east side. Always overpriced at least a dollar more than every other gas station, and I suspect you don't even get the full amount paid for. I come here occasionally when I'm super low on gas because I live nearby.. I put in 5-10$ dollars and it's back on E (light on) by the time I get up the FDR and over the GW bridge .. not even 15 miles.. total scammers! read more

As of June 22, the price of gas here was 70¢ more per gallon than the gas station on 8th Ave. @ 13th Street, plus an additional 50¢ per gallon if you want to pay by credit card. Avoid at all cost. -They extract every penny from you in a dishonest manner. First of all gas was priced over $1 higher then it is normally everywhere else. Customer service was a scam, they just want to take every dollar you have from you. I went in and someone came an assisted me. I told them regular gas. They told me okay sir regular. After the gas nozzle stopped automatically the guy kept on filling the gas tank 5-6 more times even after that click. He even pulled the nozzle back slightly so more fuel can enter the tank with out it cutting off. As if he was trying to squeeze every dollar I had. I went to other gas station before and normally they stop after the first time the nozzle stops, or at least do it a couple more time to get an even balance in change, or 1-2 times max. But these guys went at it like crazy. Pulling out the nozzle so the nozzle doesn't stop putting gas? Insane. After receiving the receipt I was furious as the guy said he put in regular but it was premium. Fuck these guys they want to extract every dollar you have. Do not go to this place. Horrible customer service. I pulled up to a gas pump this morning and there were a couple of employees idle. Neither offered help (although I didn't need any). A man pulls up, right across the island from me, and one proceeds to fill his car with gas!! Confused by the process, I asked if the island was full service. He said "no". Moving on...somebody popped the hood of the car that was being assisted with gas and two guys walk toward it and look in. All of a sudden, I saw a big cloud of smoke and the three MEN by the car jump out of harms way and left me standing there. I didn't know what was going on!!
