Conveniently overpriced gas station in midtown NYC on the east side. As I was out on a long run tonight I needed some water and as I passed by this gas station I noticed the group of vending machines on site. Whoa! $3 for a bottle of Aquafina. Then I looked at the gas prices and was happy I don't own a car. How do people afford to own a car and pay for gas these days? The station is clean. No mini mart here. ATM. Self service and full service but you'll pay extra for that! Yeah, I'd rather run than own a car. read more

They are price gauging. Double the price from easy. On google they are listed slightly higher , maybe 50 cents more. But once you get to the station it is outrageous. Would also say that I don't believe they have a visible sign from the street. Would have never pulled in if there was one. read more

$7.55 gas. If there was a negative review this place will get it price gouging is illegal but they must have paid off someone to get away with it 7.55 cent per gallon for regular there is no near by state has that price I don't and from the looks of the other reviews this place has been getting away with this for years now how are they not getting in trouble for overcharging driver on their mishaps someone need to make them famous so they stop doing that will never in my life time go back to that place I learn my lesson read more

Avoid this place! Very pushy attendant who kept getting in my business and putting his hands and my car and grabbing my card after I told him I didn't need or want assistance. I really think it was just to distract me from the fact that they charge DOUBLE what any other gas station charges. read more

This gas station is a complete scam. They take your money and when I spoke to the attendant/ workers there. About the air pump not working properly. They said too bad. Come back and speak to manager. Rude and no understanding from a customer side point of view. Complete scam. Not customer friendly. I used to get gas from here all the time. Not anymore after this encounter. All other gas charged $1 for air for tires. This place charge $2, meanwhile machine Run for like 10 second and shuts off. A total scam. Avoid this gas station at all cost. Not to mention the gas price is overpriced like California prices like $6 a gallon. It a total robbery. ROB you blind. read more

I wouldn't come here for the gas (it's about a dollar more per gallon than most places) and the vending machines are $3/drink (not horrible, but not great either). But I give it an extra star or two because it's uniquely situated and accessible to see fantastic views of Brooklyn over the east river. read more

Would you like to Have an authentic Third World experience without ever having to leave the island of Manhattan? Well look no further! Price gouging like nothing I have seen anywhere else in NYC. At $6.30 per gallon for regular gas during this time when gas is definitely more expensive than usual is nothing but gouging. read more

This gas station doesn't deserve to be open. What they did was nothing short of a crime. I'm filing a complaint with the city. Tonight I went to get gas as I was on reserve with 10 miles left of range (according to the info display on my dashboard). I pull up to pump my gas and the guy tells me it's full service... strange in NYC, but okay. Then I see that a price of Premium 93 is $7.79/gallon. In fact, Regular 87 was $6.70! I say "Wow, with these prices, just give me $10 and I'll make it to another gas station." After a very brief moment, he ensures me I'm all set. However, when I turn my car on... the dash read "Low Fuel," the bar hadn't even moved and the info display read "Range 10 miles." Furious, yet calm, I tell the man "hey did you even put any gas in my car? It's at the same level I came in at!" And he completely ignored the fact and tells me to get cheaper gas elsewhere. I crawled to the Bronx and barely made it with 2 miles left... HORRIBLE! read more

Who really gives a gas station a bad review???! Anyway, let me preface this review by saying that if we weren't running low on gas, I would not have paid the extra change to get gas in the city. The gas station was well lit and there is one lane near the kiosk that is full service. There was an employee with a vest on waiting to pump anyone's gas who didn't mind paying about $2.00 extra per gallon for this service. We passed on that luxury pumped our own gas and went about our business. If the gas light comes on again and I'm in midtown again, I will definitely head over to put some gas in the tank... What more do you need from a gas station? read more

Wow thought I knew it all. I know where gas station is I told my co-worker. We on lower east side lets go to Lafayette and Houston. Boy was I wrong. Driving city vehicle I was in need of gas and there was none to be found below 42nd street. Man what a racket this station has gas cornered here NYC. Yes you have to pay more for credit a lot more than cash. It's sucks running out of gas and this is your only choice. Well I am not paying for it so what the hell. You never realize how things changed until you need it. Wow glad I don't drive in city and need gas. What a rip off haha read more

Avoid the BP at 23rd St & FDR at all cost. I have a Toyota Yaris sedan and never, ever have I paid $45 (9.9 gallons of gas) to fill up my tank. I was running low and decided to stop there. Never again...bunch of crooks!!! read more

They charged us $70 for 14 gallons that's 2x as much as we usually pay to fill it up and they pumped the gas from a pump behind where we had parked so we couldn't even see what he was doing until he was done. The worst! Unfortunately one of the few gas stations left in the downtown area on the east side. Always overpriced at least a dollar more than every other gas station, and I suspect you don't even get the full amount paid for. I come here occasionally when I'm super low on gas because I live nearby.. I put in 5-10$ dollars and it's back on E (light on) by the time I get up the FDR and over the GW bridge .. not even 15 miles.. total scammers! read more

I'm pretty sure this is the only gas station on the East side of Manhattan below 42nd Street. Do what you can to go anywhere else. As of June 22, the price of gas here was 70¢ more per gallon than the gas station on 8th Ave. @ 13th Street, plus an additional 50¢ per gallon if you want to pay by credit card. And it's not like the extra cost gets you the experience of pumping gas at some beautiful urban oasis; this place is dingy and unwelcoming, despite its waterfront location. Save your money, go somewhere else. read more

Expensive for no reason hate house people take advantage when they know their one of the few downtown

Watch out for these guys. It's full service so they pump you less gas than what is paid. Straight scam.

So I bought a pick up truck and I needed to fill it up for the first time. It was empty so I came here and fill it up. It was $100 for a whole tank and I payed with debit card. Today I went to 96/1 and again it was empty and for the full tank which Again I payed with debit card was $64!!! Can you believe it? My experience cost me $36 but let me say it was worth it because I will NEVER COME BACK!! Shady business read more

*if you have a flat do not come here!!!* Horrible. Save your time and money. Shoddy work and they won't repair if the flat comes back. They patched my tire only for it to come back within a week. Avoid at all cost. -They extract every penny from you in a dishonest manner. First of all gas was priced over $1 higher then it is normally everywhere else. Customer service was a scam, they just want to take every dollar you have from you. I went in and someone came an assisted me. I told them regular gas. They told me okay sir regular. To my surprise looking at the receipt they put in premium. PREMIUM in a shitty nissan thats 10 years old. Your fucking kidding me. Next they open my hood, and tell me I need a bunch of fluid, to which I reply no thanks Im having the car serviced. They guy insisted I need all these products, even after I told him no thanks. After the gas nozzle stopped automatically the guy kept on filling the gas tank 5-6 more times even after that click. He even pulled the nozzle back slightly so more fuel can enter the tank with out it cutting off. As if he was trying to squeeze every dollar I had. I went to other gas station before and normally they stop after the first time the nozzle stops, or at least do it a couple more time to get an even balance in change, or 1-2 times max. But these guys went at it like crazy. Pulling out the nozzle so the nozzle doesn't stop putting gas? Insane. After receiving the receipt I was furious as the guy said he put in regular but it was premium. Fuck these guys they want to extract every dollar you have. Do not go to this place. I was expecting to pay a slight premium in Manhattan for gas, but this place was not worth it at all. Go to gulf or mobile gas station in the city, they don't scam you like these guys. read more

Horrible customer service. I pulled up to a gas pump this morning and there were a couple of employees idle. Neither offered help (although I didn't need any). A man pulls up, right across the island from me, and one proceeds to fill his car with gas!! Confused by the process, I asked if the island was full service. He said "no". Moving on...somebody popped the hood of the car that was being assisted with gas and two guys walk toward it and look in. All of a sudden, I saw a big cloud of smoke and the three MEN by the car jump out of harms way and left me standing there. I didn't know what was going on!! When the smoke settled, I assumed they removed the radiator cap of the car, but they could've at least forewarned me. I asked to speak with the manager. He seemed nice enough, but unhelpful. read more
