You infected a lot of people when you went to this gas station. There were some mafia bosses here at the time, and that didn't stop you. You made an entire Mob ill. Absolutely disgusting gas station. Unfriendly people and oh my God have you seen the prices? I mean New York City is always expensive or not always but often. This one? You can literally go to Jersey in 4 mins (not counting traffic hold ups) and find gas half or even less of this price. You might even find it at a third of this price. It's a scam. And it's a Manhattan thing. And it rubs me the wrong way and they're not even nice about it. Oh and it's full service which almost nowhere in New York state is - so avoid unless you love that kind of thing and you want to throw your money in the toilet. read more

There are many signs up calling the full-service gas station. Yet the person working there didn't even look up when I pulled my car and waited for a bit for him to come help me. Obviously I can pump my own gas! But you pay a premium for full-service and it was a rainy day. I guess being one of the only gas stations remaining in lower Manhattan means they don't have to work very hard to keep your business. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. We stopped at this gas station because we were almost out of gas and didn't think we would make it to the next one. It was around 2am and while my friend filled the tank I went inside to buy treats and ask to use the bathroom. The gentleman at the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. He told me that the bathroom was only for customers and when I told him we were pumping gas he said "no that's not you"- because I was wearing ripped jeans and a tshirt and with my apparel I couldn't possibly be with the man filling the tank on a luxury car that was so expensive. How can you say that to someone? How can you insult my apparel, deny me use of the bathroom as a customer and proceed to tell me to go use the public bathroom at the grocery store across the street where I obviously wasn't a customer at. I am appalled that this would happen, AVOID THIS PLACE. There's a gas station around the corner with much better service, don't waste your money here! read more

The price of gas is a dollar more then any gas station !!!!! This is such a rip off. Go anywhere else if you can.

Check your receipt...the prices posted are not always accurate (Cash or Credit) I think this is why they are so quick to pump your gas for you rather than let you pump your own....I've had this happen to me on 3 separate occasions and When I brought it to their attention they were rude and made me go inside to get a refund from a cashier who treats you like you're scum. They also rip you off on old-off brand windshield wipers that crack within weeks of being installed. I live around the corner but will never go back. read more

on the semi extreme west side of 8th ave in the west village area is were you find this mobil gas station /basic convience store. yes the gas is overpriced but you dont have many options in the area and its no fun running out of gas on the west side hwy. a plus is that some dude pumps the gas so you really dont have to leave the comfort of your car but only 4 gas pumps will cause a long wait especially when the yellow cabs come to fill up. next time it might be better not to be low on gas so you can avoid places like this and as for the bathroom i rather soil myself then ever use a public gas station bathroom. read more

Absolutely horrific experience. I, in addition to several others, stopped there during pride to use the bathroom. It isn't uncommon for a gas station to request that you buy something in order to use the bathroom and all of us did. What was completely unacceptable was that this gas station bathroom had absolutely not toilet paper or paper towels. Even worse was when I alerted them they said that they were out of paper toilet paper and had already put in two rolls today, The acted like two rolls of toilet paper was a lot for a public bathroom, which was strange enough. Then the guy handed my, with his hands all over it, some paper towels to use. As you can imaging that was not sufficient and I had to call out from the bathroom to my friend in front of a line of people waiting to run in and buy some tissues or something. She came back to me and told me that they had refused to sell her anything that could be used as toilet paper. Then one of the attendants comes up to the bathroom and starts to shame me publicly for holding up the line and when I tell him I need more toilet paper he acted shocked and made a scene about how they had already given me toilet paper. Finally I convinced him to bring me more towel paper that he also put his hands all over. The whole experience was absolutely humiliating and discussing. I do not think it is unreasonable to get toilet paper in a public bathroom and not have the three men on staff publicly shame you about it and refuse to sell you tissues. To be very specific the rudest man there was a skinny man with glasses who was excessively rude to all the other customers in addition to myself. I must tell you I do not liberally write bad yelp reviews. I once slipped on ice at a restaurant, was served pork in a vegan sandwich, and had my feet cut up during a pedicure. All of these things to me were honest mistakes but this was intentional sadism and harassment. I will publicize this any way that I can until acton is taken against all three men working on the evening of Sunday June 28th. read more
