The pumps seem well-maintained and the entire fueling area is very clean. Also, the pumps are away from the convenience store parking to avoid any potential traffic issues. (2.44/gallon with card discount) But at the pump it cost 2.69/gallon CASH for regular unleaded gas. This is not a one-time occurrence - this is how they regularly (falsely) advertise their gas prices every day. Charging an additional 20 cents a gallon is a significant difference. They're counting on people not checking. And they're hurting the neighboring Shell stations by making it look like their gas is much cheaper. Don't fall for it.

If you live in the square enclosed by William Cannon, Stassney, South 1st, and Congress - this should be your neighborhood quick-mart. One day, I went to pick up a 6-pack of Negra Modelo for a small gathering at my house. In line in front of me were two men, each carrying their respective beer of choice: one had an Olde English 40 oz, the other had a 6-pack of Bud Lite. All I'll say is that I am Mexican, and the three of us were quite the portrait of ethnic stereotypes. I'll leave it at that. Another night, I'd gone with my boyfriend to pick up some wine for another gathering at our house. On our way to the cash register, this man stormed up to the owner with a stack of photocopies, demanding his money back. The owner explained that he must pay for all his copies. The angry customer argued that he would not pay for defective copies and ranted that the copying machine should be fixed. When the owner would not give him a full refund, but only a refund for the defective copies, the man grabbed the receiver off the phone hanging by the front door and threw it so hard, a little piece of plastic hit my head. Then they went back and forth several rounds with very ridiculous expletives involving each other's mothers and sisters. I'll deduct one star for violence.

They've been getting hampered by construction on their street corner which is resulting in a decline in business, but as a customer it's really not that inconvenient. There's plenty of bright lights so you feel safe, the attendant has a good line-of-sight and is very close by (in case you're worried about safety), and there's a drive-thru window if you just want to pull in and buy something from the convenient store.
