What an awful experience trying to put some gas today. I drove up and the pump said card is not working and that I need to see the cashier. I went in and asked for 20 bucks in gas and paid with my credit card. I went to pump and it stopped pumping at 2 bucks. Then I had to go back into the store to tell the cashier that the pump wasn't working. The cashier who was a sorry excuse for a human said to push the pump harder like I don't know how to pump gas. Mind you all this is taking up precious time as the pump is the one furtherest away from the store and it was a busy time where I had to join the line. Then he comes out to see and realizes it's not pumping. He proceeds to charge me again !!!!!! I told her no i already paid for the gas. BE AWARE NOT TO GET SCAMED BY THIS GAS STATION. For the second time this year Shell gas station has not honored my Ralphs/Kroger gas rewards discount, even when they say they offer it. Especially when you pay cash, The tellers inside allow you to input your Ralph's rewards info and the in store device states that you have earned a discount amount, in my last case it said $0.40 cents discount per gallon. Then when you go to pump the gas, the gas pump does not reflects the discount and charges you the actual amount advertised instead. I lost out on $6.94 cents this last time from them. When you bring it to the tellers attention, they just make excuses, act confused and unwilling to help. It's not about the money I write this, its more about the integrity of this gas station being untrustworthy multiple times. Probably most people don't bother with it afterwards. So I called Shell corporate and when they looked up if this gas station participates with Ralphs rewards, they informed me that they don't and should not be misleading customers this way, even further their machine should not indicate discount amounts either. They are conducting an investigation. Finally when you try to call then at the number they provide in the internet, the number in not good. With everything that is going on in our country, we need to speak up when it merits it. read more

I was then threatened to have my phone call monitored. I was warned never to call again, or else. It's convenient for me to fill up here, because I live nearby and it's never crowded. Every once in a while the price is more competitive but it's smart to catch a glimpse before deciding to fill the tank here. You have to go inside to pay -- no transactions at the pump. No big deal. Here's the problem... The woman inside is only at the register 50% of the time if you want to pay. I've actually had to leave three times before, because she was nowhere to be found. How do they expect to stay in business that way? This isn't a high end gas station by any means, and it's only convenient to me the 50% chance the woman is at the register. I think I'll fill up at another place down the road from now on. It's a shame, because this place can fix their issues and they're at a very convenient location to become more successful. read more

I used to wonder why this gas station is always empty, now I know. Although the price is reasonable, the service is TERRIBLE. I've gone several times, and each time I have to wait 30 seconds to a minute inside for an attendant to get up and help me. She walks in as if it was a huge inconvenience to get up, then rings me up with the worst attitude you can imagine (as if she's doing me a favor). After having no other choice then to drop in to get some emergency gas i discovered what I had only have heard about. The women at the counter was rude and did not even acknowledge me first of all. It was one of those mornings... Later than usual, and I pull up to Sevan gas, as it was my most time effective option on my way north out of Burbank. After realizing they do not accept credit cards at the pump, I walk in to the store, and the attendant is loading Redbull into the display case as if the fate of the world depended on the cans being aligned within a millimeter of one another. This is the worst place I have ever seen. The guy there is so rude. He charges 75cents for every credit card transaction. (First time ever saw this in US). Definately do not go here to get your oil changed. I called here while looking at my options for oil change. I wanted to spend less than i normally do at jiffy lube (35 dollars) for my big suv. I called the the guy told me itd be 20 dollars. I was excited, as i just got qupted 30 for my vehicle type at another local shop. The guy gives me the oil change and says 'thatll be 45 dollars'. He said that the 20 dollars is only for the labor, and the oil and supplies cost more. I was conned out of the most expensive oil change i had ever received. He didnt even reset my oil light, until i went back later to ask him. No new air in tires or topping up fluids like normal oil change places give. I was so taken advantage of. Never again. read more

Do not go to this gas station unless you're ok with them disrespecting and taunting you. The male is rude! I have never been so mistreated in my life. I was on the freeway when my car started to make noise. I immediately exit the free and pulled up into the gas station to see what was going on. I did not have a flat so I went inside and ask the male if he could come and look under my car to see if I was dragging something, because I tried to look and did not see anything. He replied very clearly "I do not speak English". I ask the female sitting behind the counter ask him, she replied "He's not a mechanic". I went back to my car to call roadside service since I am a female and don't know much about cars and noticed I had left my cell phone at home, I went back in and ask could I use there phone to call a toll free #, the male then said his phone only receives calls. They had a business phone and 2 cell phones on the counter. I attempted to show them the business card to show them it was roadside service and it was a toll free # when the male started to yell how come I don't have a phone with my fancy car, I advised him I left it at home by mistake, he went on to tell me how does not have to help me and how he works every day and I probably don't and is driving around in a fancy car. I told him I do work, I just need to have them come. He then ask me how much money I was willing to give him to use his phone, I then offered him a few dollars then he said I don't want your money. He continued to yell and laugh saying how I needed his help with my fancy car. I could not believe this was happening, in total shock the tears started to roll down I was so hurt. I just walked out, he followed me outside, yelling "hey fancy car girl, you don't want to use my phone now". He repeated several times, his voice started to fade the further I walked trying now to search for a payphone on the street. I have never in my 38 years of my life been treated so bad, and judged solely based on the kind of car I drove. He knew absolutely nothing about me and I did nothing to him for him to taunt me, yell and be down right MEAN and RUDE for no reason. Did I mention this gas station has a garage to fix cars. How can one have a business dealing with the public from all walks of life and be so mean. If I was purchasing gas, would he decline my business/money because of the kind of car I drove. I live locally & get gas here often as they have good prices usually. I typically do not have any interaction with the staff as I use the credit card machine at the pump. Tonight I had the miserable fortune of having to deal with the cashier. My pump said it was "ready to pump" but the gas would not flow. After many attempts I went inside to ask for help. I was the only car there...they were NOT busy at all. The attendant was nowhere to be found but her laptop was on & sitting on the counter. She finally came out of the bathroom & when I explained the pump wasn't working she made no effort to help, but rather rudely said it must be my fault. I again asked if she could come help, but she sat down at her laptop & began looking at the internet. She REFUSED to help me. I went back outside & discovered the hose to the pump was disconnected. I went back in the store to ask how I could make sure my credit card would not get charged by the next person to use the pump. She scoffed at me & rolled her eyes like this was the most ridiculous question she had ever heard. SO RUDE. When I asked her to at least look at me & speak to me directly instead of looking at her laptop she again scoffed. I asked her for her name & she refused to give it to me. Whoever this worker is she should be fired for the WORST customer service. I was pleasant & polite to this woman & simply asked for her help & she was so incredibly rude that I felt compelled to write this review. If you get gas here, you better hope you don't need anyone to help you. RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: The fact that you have a recording of this interaction and that you don't see anything wrong with the "service" that your employee gave speaks volumes. Yes, you are absolutely correct that I muttered the F word as I left the store for the last time. I had come in your store & asked for help multiple times only be rudely dismissed each time. I was extremely frustrated as anyone in my situation would be. There was absolutely nothing discriminatory in my dialogue with your so-called employee. Nothing. I Moved to the area almost a year ago and live right around the corner from seven gas station. So for me, this place is the most convenient and well priced gas station. I normally have no interaction with the staff since I pay at the pump. I recently went inside to purchase a lottery ticket and the lady behind the the counter seemed like she had better things to do like look at papers on the counter than to help me, the customer. She finally attended to me and I payed and went on my way and didn't give it another thought. Today, on my way home I noticed I needed a little air in my tire so I stopped by for some air. I walked In and asked politely if she could turn the air on for me and she said it cost four quarters. I understand that one gets the free air if they pay for gas but at this time I didn't need gas just air. She got rude and told me she's not giving her air away for free. I told her I only get gas from them once a week and it is not only neighborly but it's good business to give the air away for free. I told her if she is willing to lose a loyal customer for four quarters and she could care less. All she could say is that she is not giving any air away for free. So guess what. I will be purchasing my weekly gas at another station that understands customer service. Good job lady.
