No, this location is technically a stand alone outpost although the store that it's "attached to" is right down East Market Street. Let's do it! Time for the ol' trusty default three star Yelp gas station check list: Good price? Yep, at $1.79 it's better than what I can get my hands on at home but of course who the hell pays that price? If you're coming here more than likely you do your grocery shopping at Giant so with the BonusCard points that you no doubt have been hoarding, you're likely redeeming them for a price that is always lower. For me it was $1.29 so I appreciated going back to somewhere around 2001 if only for a brief minute or two. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Sort of. This station is located on East Market Street where there are large medians dividing the road so if you're coming south on Memory Lane you're golden, if you're coming west on East Market Street you're golden and if you're not doing one of those two you're screwed unless you have a thing for homicides. Human intervention needed? No Three star gas station bliss... close enough.

However, I am set up to receive text alerts for when a charge exceeding $100 is applied to my card, and voila one came through. Because apparently it is Giants policy to hold $150 (!) on your card!! I get that gas stations put a hold of a certain amount on, but $150 is excessive. I have a large SUV and that's still usually about double what it would take me to fill er up. Won't be stopping here again!

Before my phone call I went inside to get out of the heat of the day. Inside the store is setup as usual and mostly organized. I used the facilities and found these facilities needed a little attending to. I went back outside and off to the side to take my phone call. Upon doing that I noticed that there was a carwash at this location. It's a bit confusing to get to when on the lot. The entrance to it is behind the store in an offshoot like parking lot. Behind the store doesn't feel like it is connected in the least. It almost felt overgrown in some spots. However, the trees were a nice shade from the sun that day. I am thankful that this location was here to give me a spot to pull off and take my phone call. But if I was a local, I probably wouldn't make this my go to spot for Sheetz.

We were on a roadtrip and just needed to grab something fast so we could be on our way - my mom had a hot dog that she said was "great" - my husband and I had a meatball sub and fries, and I know how that sounds at a gas station, but they were honestly pretty good. We're not saying run to Sheetz and eat there as a must try, but if you're in a pinch and traveling, need to get somewhere without making several stops - the food here will suffice, fill you up, and didn't give us any weird stomach aches or anything afterwards, so if you have to - go for it.

Hey, I finally needed to get fuel at one of my many stops at a Sheetz. This Sheetz was busy and I…read morethought that it was going to be a headache to get fuel here. I have to say, I was wrong. Really wrong. See this location is on a very busy stretch of road and I was worried that it was going to be a hard in and out of the lot. But it was nice to have an easy in and I was able to pull right up to a pump. Did my thing, scanned my code, tapped my card, selected my fuel and I was set to go. One thing I liked about this stop was that I was able to unload my vehicle of all the loose trash I had over this past road trip. I didn't need to go inside here on this stop, but I am sure it was set up per usual, and busy as the outside. Once done, I was able to pull back out onto the road and be on my way.

Go to a local coffee shop that has real customer service. It might be more $ but absolutely worth it to avoid the frustration.

About the only way it is convenient to get here is if you are traveling north on Queen Street or west on Pauline Drive. If you aren't going in one of those directions, you will need to pull off a series of u-turns to get here. The place isn't that bad and has okay made to order food, but it just isn't easy to get to. The gas prices usually aren't the cheapest, but you to get a few cents per gallon off if you pay with cash or a debit card. If you are traveling on I83, it is much easier to get off at the Leader Heights exit and hit up the Rutter's.
