This Sheetz location re-opened recently after an extended period of renovation - and when I say "renovation," I mean the entire building was torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. The old location was the old Sheetz look. The new location is much nicer on the inside compared to the old. I pulled in today to refuel. Review is for the Made To Order food. I have no idea how this place has not spread to the West Coast yet. There is no other place where you can get this kind of bang for your buck. Amazing food and open 24/7!!! It will bring you back to your school days of late nights, fast food, and great times. I loaded up the two hot dogs options for only $4! This alone kept me coming back. Using the boom boom sauce and jalapeño mayo + veggies made the hot dogs incredible. Pretzel buns were also great. The burger is a bit more expensive but replacing the brioche bun with waffles made it sooo good. The waffles are slightly sweet so it just added an entirely new dimension to the burger, plus loading it up with more toppings just made it a delicious meal. The employees are incredible. The woman behind the register is super helpful with a great attitude, and the African American man cooking it up behind the counter is an absolute gem. Hot diggity dog my brother. Never been a big fan of sheetz. No matter which one I go to, they're a mess to drive in to park and a mess to get back out. You have large commercial trucks taking up all the curbs and can't allow, then cats coming and going, you have to wait for one person to go first. Big trucks are 1 problem. Then as big as this place is parking can be scarce. Trucks parking in areas where there not even outline parking. Then more say curbise parking. Seriously? At a sheetz. You can call it convenience or a lackadaisical. I choose the latter. There's only on pump per shelter, therefore the cars line up causing more issues getting In and out of the lot. Inside. More cluster. People line up for the one check out person...the line stretches the whole way in front of the coffee bar. Very inconvenient. And as stayed. One person at the register, 4 in the back making bagels. It's cool they offer MTO food, if you're into that kind of thing. I'll pass. Today I got a Fiji water for $5 and a small bag I'd doritoes for 1/2 as much. $7 and change. Should have gotten a kids meal at chick fila. read more

I called Sheetz Blackwell Rd Warrenton to simply find out if they sold ethanol free gas. Their phone is not in service (hey, that's their problem!) so I called their 800 Help number. Stayed on the phone over 20 minutes with computer voice assurances that my call was important, which it obviously was NOT. Customer service is so bad it would make an onion cry. read more

After working a 10-hour shift tired and ready to go home and just relax for the night so I stop by Sheetz to get a quick cheap dinner 6 for 6$ tacos which is admittable a good deal or it would be if it wasn't actually 3 for 6$ because apparently, I "pushed the wrong taco icon" while ordering. Wow, cool, awesome just what I'm sure anyone would want to hear after a long workday. Did anyone offer to rectify this? Nope. Was I going to make a big fuss over it at the store also nope. But it's this level of just apathy from admittedly pretty much any food service or retail worker today that makes me want to smack the sh*t out of the CEOs of these company's AKA Travis R. This was honestly just a bathroom stop on a bit of a road trip to the southern most parts of VA. I wasn't shocked to see a bevy of confederate flags when I walked in the door, nor do I hold that against the establishment... but here we were. Facility was clean enough. Solid gas prices. The bathroom was cleaner than I expected. I'm torn. I love the cold brew at Sheetz, however this location must have a hiring requirement to suck. Tried to order via the app once and when I arrived, the system was "down." That couldn't have been on the app as an update? Maybe I expect too much from technology and apps. Today Miss Sunshine doesn't ask if I have a Sheetz card and when I pull it up the transaction is complete. No fake ass apology, just a shrug. I LOVE SHEETZ. There is no doubt about it. When I travel I go out of my way to adjust my route just so I can fill up and stuff at Sheetz. Born and raised in Altoona, PA this is my way to "buy local" That being said, I had two semi -issues with this place. First off the bathroom was DISGUSTING!!! Very UN-Sheetz like. It was dirty, tiny, and to top it off apparently the sink had been constantly running for God knows how long. I understand things happen and things take time. But if I was a manager of this store I would have made that running sink a priority. There was water ALL over the floor. Obviously the sink was full and it was your ONLY option to wash your hands. So even though you knew it was broke, if you wanted to wash your hands, well at least the water was already running. There was a note taped to the mirror, which said "We know the sink is broke" (of course it was pure chicken scratch). Not only did this broken faucet make the bathroom gross the note (at least to me) sent a message that said "Don't bother us, we know, we know. Being environmentally friendly is not a priority". Secondly, I ordered a jalapeno/cheese pretzel. When I was paying the lady who was cooking, THREW my pretzel on the counter. It came out of its little sleeve and slid across the counter, and as if they had this planned, the cashier catches it, puts it back in the sleeve and hands it to me. Thanks ladies, I appreciate it. I'm never one to cause I seen so I filled my tank and left. Figured I'd take my frustrations out on YELP. Of course my pretzel was delicious. I LOVE SHEETZ. So in no way should this review cause you not to stop at a Sheetz. I'm just hoping someone from corporate (ahem, Steve where are you?) see's this and keeps an eye on the store. Good Service, decent cheap food -- get the $2 six inch cheese sub toasted with veggies, the cheapest filling meal you will get anywhere... Of coarse there are a lot of other higher priced good tasting options available too, and I do spend more once in a while, but I usually try to keep it cheap... This Sheetz is the worst of the 3 in the area. Each of them has their issues, this one just happens to be the smallest, worst stocked, with the least number of pumps, and a less than desirable parking situation. And, like all Sheetz in my experience, some of the pumps are always out of order. read more
