It also gives me a reason to detour from my route to make a stop and fill the time that I have on my hands at the time. I had a ton of time on my hand before where I needed to be, so I took a detour to find this one. This location feels like it is a bit lonely as it sits in a more residential area if you are coming from the one end. The other way there are several other businesses, but nothing that would make this a commercial district in any way. Even though it feel a bit lonely here, they are all the bells and whistles at this location. Outdoor seating, indoor seating, many different fuel types, and of course all the goodies you have come to know of Sheetz. I stopped here to get myself a snack, use the facilities and grab a few things that I really didn't need. It was a fast experience as I was basically in and out. I did stick around a bit to after making my purchase. I sat outside and took in the day before I hopped back into my vehicle and headed to my final destination. Customer service was swift and polite here. They were attentive and made for a swift transaction. I would definitely stop back here on my way through if I'm ever in the area again.

Went with Hot Ham with Pepper Jack Cheese, Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, on a Pretzel sub roll (hey, I had some fun and was creative haha). Picked up a bag of Salt and Pepper Herr's and also a pak of Boyer Butterscotch cups for my flight home the following day. Pennsylvania takeout junk food HEAVEN. I useta be torn on the Wawa vs Sheetz debate...I've now definitely slid to the Sheetz side. More variety...better food. Wish Sheetz would come down to Florida like Wawa did. And I'm glad my wife wasn't with me on my junk food run to Sheetz as she woulda likely suggested that I swap out the Herr's for a salad...

I had started out for the long haul home and needed to make a stop. I was thirsty and needed to use facilities. Typed in what was nearby and the roadside signs confirmed that Sheetz was off this exit. Now, entering and exiting is a bit of a task depending on how you approach. But once in the lot, it is pretty big with ample parking. Got out of the my vehicle and went inside and headed straight towards the facilities. Once finished in there I went to the coolers to pull out a drink. I had to wait here a bit as there were multiple people at the coolers. It was a hot day so I can understand. Found what I wanted and used the self checkouts, making for a quick exit out of the store.

This was the first Wawa I saw with tables inside. We stopped inside Wawa Saturday for snacks and drinks while on the road. The sandwich line was long so we opted no this time. Coffee is good as always. This location has self-check out stations. Side note: Wawa and business in the area here have out plastic bags. I was surprised after being so used to the plastic-bag-ban in NJ. Useful to reuse if your traveling through or vacationing in the area, but try to reuse or recycle these bags afterwards.

I've always been shocked with how much bacon they put on a BLT. Never had a problem there. The rest is just your typical gas station. Coolers with drinks and isles with snack food. The only, and I mean only thing I don't like about this location is the truckers entrance is through the game room i.e. the electronic slot machines and they allow smoking in there. So it's always full of stagnant smoke. If you don't like it go around through the main entrance in the front.

I am new to the area and discovered this Convenient Food Mart in Hazleton, PA on August 30, 2022…read more The store didn't look the cleanest and the owner was a little odd, he stared but couldn't respond to my hello and head nod. I went to purchase a can of Starbucks coffee from the refrigerator only to discover a few of them expired almost 3 months ago - June 13, 2022. Upon further inspection, an entire row of about 12 cans were covered in dangerous black and green mold on the sides and the top of the cans where your mouth goes!!! I brought two cans over to the owner, an older Indian man, who rudely snatched them out of my hand. I went back to the refrigerator to see if there were any good cans, but I was so disgusted I couldn't purchase from here. The owner came over and told me to close it so it stays cold! I asked him what he's doing with all of these expired moldy products and he told me it's his business and "I can run my store how I want to run it, I've had it for fifteen years!" This was absolutely the most disgusting business I've ever entered. So much for being a food mart. Safety first, there are quite a few other stores in walking distance from this one almost identical in look with the same products, but with much more professional and nicer owners, and would be able to pass a health inspection tomorrow. I wouldn't even support this place by filling up a tank of gas. Please do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
