Food choices here are A-Plus Convenience Store, Burger King, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Aunt Auntie Anne's Pretzels & Quiznos. Chose the Quiznos and got Black Angus Steakhouse. Came out pretty quickly, and was delicious. Wonderful "Rosemary" roll. Wife & I ate every bit. Definitely will get this again! Restrooms are clean and equipped! Pretty new service plaza, so it was a nice experience. Keep in mind that these locations are priced a little higher because we are a "captive audience".

Mcdonalds: I stopped in for breakfast thinking Ill get an egg and cheese mcmuffin. Who puts ham on something called "egg and cheese"? Needless to say, I went without breakfast because NOT ONE thing came without meat. Jerks. A-Plus: On the way back I desperatly needed gas, mostly because I refused to pay 3.15 in NY. I paid 2.75 here. So I went in and browsed. They have the usual convienience store junk, nothing special. I got some water and a sack of crackers. mmm. DECOR: Not much to say here. Mcdonalds looks like a mash up of restaurant and travel plaza. The A-Plus looks like any other convienience store.. SERVICE: Mcdonalds: None. A girl was mopping the floor, 3 guys were milling around waiting for help and no one came. A-Plus: Good. The help was friendly. ---------- FINAL THOUGHTS: Its a rest stop. Stop and rest. McDonalds sucks, but otherwise Id stop again. It was clean and friendly.

It also gives me a reason to detour from my route to make a stop and fill the time that I have on my hands at the time. I had a ton of time on my hand before where I needed to be, so I took a detour to find this one. This location feels like it is a bit lonely as it sits in a more residential area if you are coming from the one end. The other way there are several other businesses, but nothing that would make this a commercial district in any way. Even though it feel a bit lonely here, they are all the bells and whistles at this location. Outdoor seating, indoor seating, many different fuel types, and of course all the goodies you have come to know of Sheetz. I stopped here to get myself a snack, use the facilities and grab a few things that I really didn't need. It was a fast experience as I was basically in and out. I did stick around a bit to after making my purchase. I sat outside and took in the day before I hopped back into my vehicle and headed to my final destination. Customer service was swift and polite here. They were attentive and made for a swift transaction. I would definitely stop back here on my way through if I'm ever in the area again.

I useta be torn on the Wawa vs Sheetz debate...I've now definitely slid to the Sheetz side. More variety...better food. Wish Sheetz would come down to Florida like Wawa did. And I'm glad my wife wasn't with me on my junk food run to Sheetz as she woulda likely suggested that I swap out the Herr's for a salad...
