I was happy to see Pina colada flavor was available because I prefer the tropical flavors. Blue Raspberry would have been a great second choice if Pina Colada wasn't available, but all the flavors were ready to go. Jetemy got a piece of chicken and one of their new Texas toast sandwiches. I had a bite of the sandwich and was surprised by how delicious it was. I don't usually mess with gas station/convenience store foods, but I would definitely order one of these for myself, if given the chance. They did, however, originally make the sandwich with lettuce, which is not how it was ordered. They were quick to make a new sandwich when we took it back into the store. We finally downloaded the rofo app, and Jeremy immediately earned a free coffee. That will definitely come in handy.

I tried adjusting the pressure that didn't work. The glass protecting the numbers was all broke up so it looked like the machines both air vacuum machines haven't been tended to in a long time. So I go in and tell the guy working behind the counter a foreign guy and I let him know that he has ripped me off $2.00 I explained to him the air pump does not work he says air pump no work no it does not. You took my money and I'm pretty sure you know it doesn't work. He say it was working, I say you know it doesn't work but you keep charging people to use them. Be honest put a sign up that says they don't work. Instead of ripping people off. Don't go there they are theives.

As soon as I walked into the store, the cashier greeted me with a warm welcome. I found the men's room clean and fresh-smelling, which I appreciated after such a long drive. I had noticed a Krispy Kreme truck in the parking lot, so I decided to get an Original Glazed doughnut. It tasted especially fresh, as though it had just come off the truck. The cashier mentioned how fresh it was in such a friendly way that it made my night. It is always wonderful to be treated kindly--especially after a long evening of driving. The store was bright, inviting, and well organized, with an interior that seemed to say, "Come on in--we have everything you need." My doughnut was a great value and provided the perfect ending to my long drive before I checked into the hotel. Since I stay at this hotel fairly often, I plan to visit this Royal Farms again for snacks, doughnuts, bottled water, and, of course, its famous fried chicken.

I will say that this Costco's gas station has a very cramped format, where there is a side exit to the Warehouse that goes to a Stop sign that is the same side street that is the entrance to the gas station. It can get congested, especially on weekends a couple hours before close. All of the gas pumps here are able to go on either side of the car, so I would aim for the shortest line and / or the line with the least number of SUV's :) Heads up -- the contactless payment does not work consistently for me, and as of Feb 2021 you are NOT able to use your QR code from the mobile app to scan your membership.
