First, if you become a regular, you will find ice-cold bottles of Jaegermeister in the refrigerator in the back just ready to buy. Second, if you have a dog, bring it in, they have treats. There is also local homemade bread here to die for. The thing I love the most about Roland Park Wines and Liquors is the music that plays is always good and the people who work here are kind and witty. Also, the beer selection is a-mazing. I had been driving by this place for years when I finally decided to go in because outside they were advertising Boh 30s for $18. I figured I'd get the Boh, one or two of the six packs and then go to a bigger, more expensive store like The Wine Source to the rest (I was looking to buy fancier 6 packs and assumed this place wouldn't have much past domestics). Boy was I wrong. It is pretty small inside and cramped, but they had a great selection of beer. I even found a gluten-free beer that I thought I'd be hard pressed to even find at the wine source. The owner is awesome. The best part is the prices: each 6 pack was anywhere from $2-3 less than at nicer liquor stores. And when you're buying more than 1, it added up quick. Ever since then I always stop here before shopping elsewhere. Even when I don't need anything I'll stop in to see what he's selling for $6 or $7. He's always got Union, Heavy Seas, etc. for a great price. Don't expect exotic or foreign beers like Duvel, but if you're looking for great prices on DC Brau and other local beers you should definitely stop here.
