Additionally, they sell limes and lemons at the register which if you've ever had a few friends over for drinks, you tend to prioritize the alcohol and forget the limes/lemons. It's always a duh moment for me but because they have them right at the register, it's easy to remember. What I think I like most about The Wine Source is how honest staff are about their thoughts on different wines. If they don't like it, they'll tell you and have enough knowledge to even recommend something based on your tastes. Lot parking can be a little scarce sometimes but that's really out of their control and usually street parking is easy to find in the area. In short, would highly recommend! My friend (who's the wine guy for sure) loves it here and says it's one of the best wine spots in Baltimore to him. P.S. Everything in the store is very curated and Rakesh knows about everything that he carries. Whenever I ask a question about a beer or wine or ask for a recommendation, he always tells me exactly what to expect from it. He's never steered me wrong. This is just a great wine and beer shop and I've always left happy. I always enjoy chatting with the employees and there is always a new wine or beer to try. We just moved to within a half mile of the place and I love being able to walk to it for tastings or just to pick up something to pair with dinner.

They have all the major grape wines - Shiraz to Pinot Noir's, from chardonnays to white zinfandel's - including Maryland's Boordy wines. Their prices range for wines is from $8 to more expensive wines in the upper $40's and higher. Their Liquor has all common spirits, whiskey to vodka. And they also have some rare ones from England. The store is run by management that is always willing to help with a great selection. The best thing is their 6 wines for $50 ... always good wines, and changed every few days. I had been driving by this place for years when I finally decided to go in because outside they were advertising Boh 30s for $18. I figured I'd get the Boh, one or two of the six packs and then go to a bigger, more expensive store like The Wine Source to the rest (I was looking to buy fancier 6 packs and assumed this place wouldn't have much past domestics). Boy was I wrong. It is pretty small inside and cramped, but they had a great selection of beer. I even found a gluten-free beer that I thought I'd be hard pressed to even find at the wine source. The owner is awesome. The best part is the prices: each 6 pack was anywhere from $2-3 less than at nicer liquor stores. And when you're buying more than 1, it added up quick. Ever since then I always stop here before shopping elsewhere. Even when I don't need anything I'll stop in to see what he's selling for $6 or $7. He's always got Union, Heavy Seas, etc. for a great price. Don't expect exotic or foreign beers like Duvel, but if you're looking for great prices on DC Brau and other local beers you should definitely stop here.
