I live in NYC as a RN during this covid outbreak and couldn't travel to celebrate my parents' anniversary this year with them. I called up Honeygo Wine and Spirits to buy them a bottle of wine and the owner Bernie hand-delivered it to their house free of charge. He even offered to get a card for them for me! Unbelievably nice. We loved this place when we lived in Baltimore and it's the first place I think of when I'm back in town visiting. Great selection and great people. My friend and I come here often on our lunch hour so he can pick up beer for the weekend. This place carries your usual Miller Lite and Budweiser, but it has so much more. They have so many beers that I have never even heard of and you can create your own six-pack with the single beers and get 10% off. This is certainly the place to go for beer lovers. That being said, I am not a beer lover. So while my friend peruses the different beers he wants to purchase, I wander through the wines and liquors and usually find something new and interesting to try for the weekend. On my last visit I bought alcohol infused whipped cream and it was delicious. Everyone that works here is really friendly and knowledgeable about beer and always willing to help. Side Note: Chopstix and Bombay Nights are two restaurants in the same little shopping center and they are both BYOB. read more

They had Sam Adams Utopias!!!! I'd been searching and coming up short. I'd considered buying it from eBay at the jacked up price. But low and behold, we walk into Honeygo Wine and Spirits and it's here! At retail price! *tear coming to eye* The have a great selection of Belgian and German beers...who cares about the rest. The staff here is always friendly and ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile. They will call distributors and order things on the spot when requested. They'll hold items for customers and have no problems with giving frank opinions on a particular item. Their beer selection is VERY good. Staff makes a point to get to know their customers. Prices are fair...about equal to that of Nikki's down near Overlea. We make a point to stop in any time we're up in Perry Hall. If you like to build your own six pack of craft beer, or need to locate hard to find beers, this is a good location. Their Maryland wine selection has declined of late, and their liquor selection is mediocre at best. They do have wine and beer tastings if you can manage to get out there. The staff I've met with knows their product which is helpful. read more

The go-to place for Craft beer in Baltimore Co. This place has the best selection of Craft beer in the area with reasonable prices. When I go I usually build my own six pack as they offer a 10% discount when purchased this way. They also have a points program that allows you to earn points towards a gift certificate which is rare for a liquor store. My favorite brewer is Mikkeller which can be hard to find and Honeygo has a fairly good selection of his beers. Only down side is they seem to have issues with their distributors screwing up their orders from time to time causing delays on some of the beers that I'm looking for, though this is no fault of Honeygo. If you're a fan of craft beer in Baltimore Co. this is a great place to find beers that are hard to come by. Really good selection. read more
