Great selection, great service. Always a pleasant experience. And easy with a parking lot and staff willing to carry out your purchases.

Great welcoming experience and service and conversation with the owner and one of the employees as well. They even had a little tap area in the back and if you are into wines and spirits then they also had some great selections.

Washington Wine & Spirits has a small selection, but what they offer is carefully and intentionally curated - including some special and harder to find small-production wines! I found a Slovenian wine I wanted to try and a wine I had in New York earlier this year that I've been looking for but haven't been able to find other places (a natural/orange wine from the Italy/Slovenia border), and I wasn't even in the shop that long! (They also offer craft beer and artisanal spirits if that's what you're shopping for.) They also have a small bar where they offer different wines by the glass or flight each month (October's offerings including 2 whites, 1 orange, 1 rose, and 2 reds). They also offer wine tasting every Friday (4-7pm) and a rewards program (you earn points when you spend money in the shop). (They also do private wine tastings starting at $40/person, which I might do soon - how fun!) The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, too. Seriously, for a small shop, what a place! I can't wait to return. A gem of a wine shop.

Additionally, they sell limes and lemons at the register which if you've ever had a few friends over for drinks, you tend to prioritize the alcohol and forget the limes/lemons. It's always a duh moment for me but because they have them right at the register, it's easy to remember. What I think I like most about The Wine Source is how honest staff are about their thoughts on different wines. If they don't like it, they'll tell you and have enough knowledge to even recommend something based on your tastes. Lot parking can be a little scarce sometimes but that's really out of their control and usually street parking is easy to find in the area. In short, would highly recommend! My friend (who's the wine guy for sure) loves it here and says it's one of the best wine spots in Baltimore to him. P.S. They also sell some food in the shop which I haven't tried yet but I'm sure it's good!

I mean, I always do buy something but that isn't my intentions all the time, especially if I'm just in the area. Of course if I drive out here, there are intentions but if my GPS so happens to take me near here on my travels, I stop in. They have some classes that are good to attend so be on the lookout for their events. Usually, I'm coming for the whiskey, rum, vodkas because I can get the wine at a closer location but this is the only place I can get both in this area so I appreciate it. This particular time was for a Crown Royal event where they talked about the history and how they come up with their products. Good times!

I'll admit the selection is a bit overwhelming. Parking is plentiful but packed, with a few dedicated spots for online pickups. The store is well organized with overall great customer service. And they seem well versed on their products. And there are a few sample stations of wines, champagne, and cocktails. And the checkout lines move efficiently, but are quite tight in space. And I take this as a compliment, but they are stern about asking for ID. I noticed my checkout guy staring at me hard as I was unloading my cart onto the conveyor belt. I was still debating whether to purchase a few items in my cart, when he abruptly asked me for my ID. I nodded and proceeded to hand him an item I decided not to purchase. But then he seemed so relieved when I finally handed him my ID, almost like he thought I was going to pull a fast one :). I Totally recommend this location!
