I opted for the two breakfast sandwich deal they had going on and threw in some hashbrown bites. finished tapping on the screen and even though I had already bought a drink at another location, I wanted something sweet. Back to the coolers I went. Used the self checkouts here as well. Scanned and paid for all my stuff and went to find a place to stand while the food was prepared. It would have been quicker if I hadn't gotten the hashbrowns, but a little wait never hurts. Once I had my food, I went out to my vehicle to get things set up so that I could eat and drive. We not only fueled up our tanks, but also our tummies... we filled up on reasonably priced gas, and grabbed some snacks for the road! They provide made to order sandwiches and other meals, many beverage choices, quick bites, prepared food, bakery goods and sundries galore. During Covid, masks were worn and protocols met. Literally the worst turkey sandwich I've ever had in my life. When I ask for vinegar and oil, I don't mean to pour the whole bottle on the sandwich! Also, my fiancé ordered a turkey wrap not a SALAD WRAP with a little bit of turkey. Someone needs to retrain the workers that are working in the kitchen tonight. Also, it seemed like they were laughing and playing more than they were actually working. Highly do not recommend. Lots of pumps at this convenient gas station along US 301 as we bypass the Richmond-Washington corridor traffic. Inside, a very organized full service convenience store with everything you need and decent prices, too. The bathroom was surprisingly clean! But there's always something to complain about and in this case, it's the majorly overflowing trash bins by the pumps. read more

I love SHEETZ! This place is so much better than Wawa. We need them across the country. I particularly like the cleanliness and amenities at every Sheetz I have visited between VA and NC. They should bring the chicken wings back to the Sheetz in Va! Why did they discontinue them in VA? Also, Sheetz supports TESLA SUPER CHARGING. I'm a huge fan of WaWa. This place is probably better, IMO. The menu is more extensive and they carry a wider drink selection. I'm a non-Juggalo that loves his Moon Mist. What can I say? LOL I'm a big Mexican food fan and have never been let down by anything Sheetz has come up with, so I tried the pulled pork burrito. Def took my first bite with lots of skepticism, which was thrown out the window. Don't get me wrong. It's not authentic, but it's better than average. My family and myself went to sheetz for some hot chocolate on Christmas day, which we have been doing for years because they have the free hot chocolate or coffee with sheetz card. When we tried to get the hot chocolate, they wanted to charge us and I even showed them their own sign. At first the manager said that it's only on Fridays and I said that there is no specific day written on the sign. Then she said it's only once a week that you're allowed one, so I told her this was the only time this week we tried to get one. She finally let us just take it but she already charged the points on my card. This is one of the reasons I don't go to sheetz as much anymore. If they're not going to stand by their own rules then they shouldn't have false advertisements on the doors. read more

This is a popular location on a very busy stretch of highway. As such it is always busy, and not very clean. Not surprising as the volume of business probably overwhelms the staff. Gas is cheap, although it can be difficult to find a pump that is not in use. read more

I'm a fan of Sheetz, but this one was very disappointing. 1. The bathrooms were an absolute disaster. My husband said the men's room deserved to be shut down and steam cleaned. 2. The ordering equipment had run out of paper, so we didn't get an order slip to take to the cash register. Fortunately we remembered the order number and they were able to retrieve it. 3. They made small errors in our orders, putting ingredients in that weren't requested, and leaving out others that were. 4. There was no place to eat the food once we got it. Fortunately the weather was nice, so we sat on the grass under a tree. Bottom line--okay place to fill your gas tank, though not the best price in the area. For anything else, consider traveling a few miles down the road. read more

I just left this location and before I walked in I read a review about them giving back incorrect change. I purchased $2.83 worth of stuff, handed the cashier a $10 bill and got just over $2 back. I stood there and said she owed me more money; appearing confused, she looked back at the receipt and said she mistakenly entered $5 vs. the $10 I paid. As a regular driver throughout Virginia I stop at a lot of the Sheetz and Wawa stores. They both are generally good, but this one in King George is the best. As noted in other reviews, the food and beverages are good. I noticed that Audrey P. in 2017 reported a bad experience with the restrooms. Perhaps that is why that since I've stopped in this place several times this year and found them to be the cleanest of any around. I always stop there when I need fuel. read more

This was literally the worst Sheetz I have ever been to. We were traveling back home to Pennsylvania and stopped here to grab something to eat. I ordered a chocolate peanut butter milkshake at 3:20pm. At 3:47pm my simple milkshake still had not been called out as ready. It was very busy in here today but 27 minutes for a milkshake is ridiculous. That's not even the worst part. I couldn't get the attention of a single person behind the counter. It was clear that there were a lot of frustrated people waiting on their food and the employees were purposely avoiding eye contact with everyone. I ended up leaving without my milkshake. I live right down the street from this place. I drive past it now every day rather than stop for coffee for a few reasons: 1. After ordering my lunch last Saturday and paying, I waited 25 mins before being told they did not have the correct parts to make it. They had a new employee working the food prep and he was obviously not familiar with some of the recipes. He told me he would make it with what he had. 2. As I went back to stand in line to ask for my money back I saw I was 8 people deep in line and there was only one cashier. I walked outside and called the store, asked to speak with the manager. The person who answered claimed to be the manager and I explained my issue and that waiting 30 mins for a sub that couldn't be made is beyond the limits of my patience. She told me she only had three people on that day and she couldn't do anything about it, then hung up. 3. I wish I could say that was the only bad experiences I have had, but they are reguarly understaffed, slow to respond, and they are obviously not trained well.
