I've been going to Specialty Dentistry for 6 years. The last year has been the worst. They don't…read morehave an appointment reminder notification set to send you a text message The day before the appointment. When you miss your appointment, you obviously have to pay a fee. But when you make your appointment 6 months out, it's hard to remember the date. Whenever you do make it to your appointment, they're not sure exactly how much to charge you. So they will send you a bill 6 months later with the balance that you've had with late fees. Whenever you go to pay the bill, their website doesn't work. Whenever you go to pay the bill when their website is working, you have to know your account number, you have to know the statement number. You also have to know the exact dollar amount. The care they provide isn't the issue. It's 100% administrative, I just feel like other places are the total package. I'm moving on to a different provider. Edit. My account and my partners account were both setup with the same number, my number. Everytime they had an appointment I would get notifications. I opted out of notifications after constantly getting notifications about their appointments. Not realizing that it also opted my account out as well. It's interesting that I opted out of notifications but still received text messages telling me I had a past due balance? I was told they were different text notification systems.

The give me the best experience ever going to the doctor to fix my teeth. The team was amazing and friendly, one took me up the elevator with her when she noticed I was unsure which floor to go. The office was really clean and organized, it's so pretty when I heard it's going to have a renovation it must be the best in the building. Very highly recommended and I'll take all my friends and family to see her. Thank you so so much Dr.Pavinee

Is it weird to write a review from 2001? The answer is no, since the same doctor is still caring…read morefor me 25 years later. :D In 2000, I had a tooth implant post surgically attached to the jaw bone via a dental surgeon. In 2001, I came to Dr. Michael Johnson to create the implant crown. The combined cost of the two procedures felt astronomical back then and probably still is. I hoped that this one tooth will last! During the initial attachment of the crown, Dr. Johnson said he is using a temporary cement in case any modifications were needed that would require removing the crowd and that I should come back for a final cement when it naturally comes off. That initial temporary cement lasted 10+ years, and I returned once in the 2010's to cement that crown in again. In Jan of 2026, the crown popped off while I was flossing. It is still in excellent condition, and Dr. Johnson was able to cement it back on again after an examination. All in all, this investment is still holding up well. Especially if you are younger with healthy bones, choose an implant over a bridge.

Wow.... impressive...phenomenal…read more Where do I start. how about Dr. Russell Johnson gets a rating of an 11 on a 10 scale. My implant crown broke. I had a new one built and went through 2 hours of hell including bruising the jaw bone and could not seat it at my General Dentist office. It appeared that the screw would not take after after two hours of pressure and multiple anesthetic applications , so my General Dentist, Nadia Alboulhosn at Icon Dental (my sweet and talented general dentist lady) tested two other Straumann screws to no avail, they just seemed to spin and not take, Hell had come to visit me... Were the THREADS inside the implant POST damaged or partially damaged? So I got a recommendation from my Periodontist, Dr. Alan Yassin (a genius in his own right) for who he personally knew, that was a PROSHTHODONTIST-PERIODONTIST combined... that person was Dr. Russell Johnson. Really, how many COMBO specialists are there, uh, like ONE in a million mile radius? Anyway, I called the office and they said Russ is booked 2 months solid, BUT... by twisted luck, he has an opening tomorrow at 1:15 pm, do you want that appt.? Uh, yes, yes I do. So I went in and the MAGIC started. FIRST, he puts a Straumann screw into the post and it takes, he says with no apparent thread issues... "WHAT", I exclaimed, my worries were suddenly improving. He says he cannot tell about the threads quality (precisely), that he would need to cut away the gums and expose the implant POST to take a closer look, should I authorize him to do that... uh, yes, yes sir, please do!!! So I got anesthetic and he cut away my gums around the POST exposing the full implant. He cleaned and evaluated the threads and they looked okay (I screamed inside my head--AWESOME!!!). Next He asked if I would like to get a HEALING ABUTMENT seated in/on my POST... uh, yes Dr. Johnson, I certainly would, absolutely!!! So he screws in a wider abutment as my prior original abutment was way too thin on tooth 30 (a major molar), but low and behold it would -NOT- screw down, and I got a huge pain. Turns out under the apparent gums on one side of my implant POST had new bone growth underneath that was not clearly apparent on the XRAY. The bone was now up against the implant and like two millimeters HIGH above the implant POST so no abutment with any width or new Crown would sink down to be screwed in, this bone was in the way now. So he askes if he should go forward... UH, YES PLEASE, DR. JOHNSON... so he injects my bone and proceeds to burr it down on the one side, so he sand-drilled it down on the one side just enough to create a space for a MEDIUM "Healing Abutment" without weakening the implant Post that Dr. Alan Yassin had placed that still showed perfectly healthy in the jaw bone. So he proceeds to screw in a perfect fitting MEDIUM Straumann abutment that he had on hand (the widest that would fit, lucky me). Remember this was just my initial appt. on a one in a million opening he had just for me (A SIGN!!! look up). I did not feel any of his work, just very tiny amount on both anesthetic treatments for gums and then into my jaw bone, but I never got numb, how is that possible, a new lidocaine, uh what??? A MIRACULOUS SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES all came to together that has restored my HOPE that someone is overseeing this simulation we live in. My worry was quashed. Russell Johnson is a GENIUS, a ultra one in a million individual, a "service to others" in a "service to self" world, that I was meant to meet that day. He even gave me a 50% off on the Straumann medium Healing Abutment, how is all this possible without divine intervention? Thank You Washington State Prosthodontics, thank you Dr. Johnson. His Assistant was excellent as well, and the entire front desk ladies.
