Found this shop about a year ago and booked an appointment with Brady! My hair was really blonde at the time with dark blonde roots, I asked her to match my roots at the time, she matched them perfectly!! I have been seeing her since and my most recent visit she placed tape-in extensions in my hair. They look beautiful!! And super natural!! She's my go-to and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I have had the same stylist cut my hair for the last 10 years, but wasn't able to get in with her in the timeframe I needed. Google led me to Shear Bliss, and I'm soooo glad it did! After having such a long-standing relationship with another stylist, I was nervous to try a new place. As soon as I walked in, my nerves faded. The place is cozy and they have coffee and soda available while you wait (a nice bonus). You can tell everyone that works there knows exactly what they're doing just by looking around, and Channon was very kind! She explained what she was doing as she cut my hair, which was appreciated because I had never had a dry cut before. She did an excellent job! I really loved getting my hair done for a military ball here. I originally booked my appointment for Saturday and then realized I needed it on a Friday. They were full but they managed to get me in. Brady was my stylist and she was amazing!! So nice and had a great chat while she was doing my hair. In addition to getting a great hair style, I had a lot of fun. I could tell Brady and the other stylists really care about their work. She kept asking me if I liked it and assuring me that she wouldn't be offended if I wanted to change it. I really liked that. She even called another stylist over for some help to make sure it was just right. I wish I got a better picture of the back of the hair style when it was done. We (husband,son and myself) love Shear Bliss, we go almost monthly for at least someone in the family. We have even called driving and basically half way there to see if someone was available for a quick mens cut and they were able to get us in between 2 other appointments with no wait. We always use Brady - shes amazing and very sweet. Some salons when you go in you feel very uncomfortable and judged however here everyone is so friendly, the first time i went i left my kids at home and was asked if i had kids and why i did not bring them that they love kids - its a great change from where i used to go. Also since i started going the same women have been there and are all friendly to each other an all clients, so the low/no turn over rate is great -previous salons the same stylist was never there twice, to me that really speaks to the company itself. read more

I moved to Harker Heights back in July and have been looking for a hair stylist since. To my excitement, I have finally found her in Ashley. From first pulling up, there is plenty of parking. Walking into the salon was warm and inviting. The decor is very cute and it is like being in a warm, cozy cottage. I was immediately greeted and offered a drink. I went in and asked for a trim--they took off three inches of my hair. When I asked to keep my same cut the lady told me I "looked like I had a mullet" and refused to cut it as per my request. After she finished it was lopsided and worse than when she started. The owner then tried to cut and and things did not get better. Needless to say, I am looking for a place to get it fixed FOR A THIRD TIME. Never going back to this quaint little place. If you don't mind them taking free reign with your hair then give it a shot. She was not intimidated by my hair at all. She asked me questions that no colorists had asked me before. She absolutely nailed the look I wanted.
