LGBTQIA+ friendly! The location I visited was a tiny little store but containing a big collection catering to a wide array of tastes and preferences. In addition to toys, lubricants, and other paraphernalia, they've also got a few bookcases of literature available. On my visit, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and happy to give recommendations when asked. I feel much better about buying from a locally-owned store than I would going through Amazon, CVS, or other big chain corporations for my needs, and they made that decision much easier! read more

Five stars for She Bop. Founded in 2009, they've got two stores in Portland. They offer non-toxic body-safe sex toys, exceptional books about the topic, and they are committed to sex ed with a variety of classes. You can tell they care about inclusivity, in a successful attempt to welcome anyone and everyone into the shop with something that might meet their needs. Staff has always been kind and professional, never too sales-y or prying, and they have lots of knowledge about the store and products. In this day and age, it's nice to have a physical storefront to visit to ask questions, touch items to see how they actually feel, and know that what you're buying has been vetted for quality a little bit already. read more

Wow, what a welcoming environment! So fun to visit and shop around and feel inspired. I've purchased a few products here and it felt like such a special fun experience! Super welcoming for anyone! read more

I felt really comfortable and safe here! I was given a few tips on how to try on/safely wear the binder I ended up getting, and the entire environment was just open, welcoming? And easy to exist in. I would quality of the products is fantastic, and in all it's a great place to ask questions and get a vibe of what you want for both personal care and gender affirmation. Months later and this place still sticks out in my mind read more

Wow. First off, Collette is AMAZING. Went in with my bf and went straight to her for direction - she did not disappoint. She knew the products, answered allllll questions and shared her preferences. We left well educated and with a bag of goodies. We would 100% go back there again. read more

Always our number one stop. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The store is clean and discreet, with excellent customer service. Highly recommend! read more

Lovely store. And the staff is so helpful. Not just for items either. I was visiting from DC and couldn't find the store. I called and the salesperson walked me through where they were. She was even on the doorway waving when I came.down the street to letme know I was in the right place. That's great service. The store is clean, well lit and has a large selection of toys and books which makes it a great place to shop with a date or alone to find that perfect item. read more

This is the coolest shop (so far) in SE Portland! The girl who was working there today is very knowledgeable about everything in the store!! I had questions about all the different items and she knew all the answers!! Very fun store and I highly recommend stopping by!! read more

Beautiful, clean, abundant selection of well organized, operational items displayed with helpful staff and all very reasonably priced.

More stores like She Bop please. A women-owned sex toy boutique that specializes in body safe products. Yes for being sex positive. Yes for being inclusive. Go support She Bop! read more

Very knowledgeable staff, great selections of toys, and amazing events that are held digitally. This is a stellar small business.

You have to go today!! An amazing selection of really fun stuff. And probably the best customer service i have experienced in the five years of living in Portland. read more

This is a nice, clean and very bright store. The staff was helpful and kind, I knew what I was looking for, so I did not have many questions to make a decision regarding my purchase. I really like the whole atmosphere and the high quality products offered. I would recommend SheBop for your personal health needs. read more

I expected friendly service today, but apparently being a patron here means being patronized. Rude unfriendly service. Was thinking about buying something there, but now I think I'll go elsewhere. Update: I reported my experience to the owner. Got lip service and dismissive "that's our policy" talk. One star review stands. read more

My boyfriend came in asking for a HITACHI magic wand. They said they carried it and sold him a cheap counterfeit vibrator made by vibratex instead. No returns accepted even in an unopened box. Also it was the exact same price as ordering the real one directly from the hitachi site. Robbing my boyfriend is MY job, these guys suck. read more

Hands down, the best sex shop I've ever been to. Wether shopping online, in the store, or taking one of their remote classes, they have proven themselves to be knowledgeable, friendly, and inclusive. read more

LOVE this shop! My husband and I are from San Diego and came across this store. 10/10 vibes, great staff, and great products.

There are always things That blow me away! Pun Intended! Their prices are Competitive. They have Great classes too!!! read more

The thing that drew me to She Bop was their approach to this whole sex toy thing. So many places I had considered going seemed so raunchy and, as an asexual person, just overall not-my-speed. I greatly appreciate how professional and confident the vibes in this place are. It's not a store with a lot of novelty or gimmicks, just genuine products that will help you get your groove on. The prices vary quite a bit, and I found that the cheaper stuff (for first timers like myself) was on the tables in the center of the shop. I walked in knowing exactly what I was looking for, but if you're not in that boat I would highly recommend talking to an associate because they seem to be really professional, sweet, and knowledgeable! read more

Wow. Such a welcoming and positive atmosphere. They really put work into making this an inclusive and comfy space, in contrast to the dingy and creepy adult shops around Portland. The staff was helpful with my questions and new just what to recommend. Definitely coming here again! read more

Great friendly staff, went here to get some lube that is a whole lot better than that Astroglide crap you can buy at regular stores. Was not pressured at all to buy anything. They also host classes from what I see read more

They say you never forget your first time. And I definitely won't forget my first time in a sex shop. ... Sorry, mom. Conveniently located in between Pok Pok and Salt & Straw, She Bop is a great place to stop by after a meal and right before dessert. Hey, if your date has a problem with an awesome shop, maybe she/he is not the one. Being quite the opposite of a drunken romp with a random guy in a dirty bathroom of a club*, She Bop is clean, classy, and very interesting (not vanilla at all). * Not speaking from personal experience, but I'm sure everyone knows how that is. read more

This is a great store. Sometime I'd like to attend some of their classes. Quaint. Friendly. Good for couples and singles alike.

High quality merchandise. Very helpful staff that helps you find what you want for yourself or wife, without feeling foolish or embarrassed. I feel it is worth paying a little more to get great customer service, quality products in a clean n classy store with zero sleeze factor, tattoos, piercings, etc. read more

Very cool shop. Like stigma free. And I found the best STP. They have toys for all things and if they don't have something, they will order it. Staff is super helpful as well. read more

Happy and bright and approachable store for things that aren't always sold in that environment. We appreciated the selection and vibe (ha! No pun intended...) and knowledgeable staff. It was the kind of place that was welcoming to singles, couples, and groups. read more

I have loved She Bop since I first got to Portland and they just did the only thing they could have done to make me love them more - made it possible for me to shop there without leaving SE! I saw the new location for the first time this weekend and while I'm not sure it's actually bigger than the Mississippi location it feels WAY bigger. There's a huge selection of really awesome stuff (you guys know there are toxic sex toys in the world, right? Not at She Bop!), the staff is ridiculously knowledgeable, it's cozy but nothing feels crowded and the place is bloody gorgeous- love it! I got a Clone-a-Willy (btw-also a PDX company) and She Bop had a range of options ( last weekend I was hunting for it in Seattle and could only find beige) , they gave me a heads up about where to find video instructions online (willy cloning is no joke!) and made sure that I knew that if anything went wrong I could get 1 replacement bag of one of the materials. I feel super-prepared:-) Also, not entirely relevant, but it's so close to Flying Cat Cafe that it's like a dream where yummy coffee and sex toys are right at my door. Happy dance! read more

She Bop is the bees knees! I am what you would call a "recovering Mormon", so sex shops are kind of intimidating to me. However, this shop is so bright and clean and friendly! They answered all of my questions (without shame) and walked me around to show me all of the products. Their staff is knowledgeable and professional and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything, just supported. They were around when I needed them but gave me space when I felt overwhelmed. It is the best customer service I've had in Portland, honestly. I recommend She Bop for everyone. Five stars! :-) read more

Love She Bop. Educational, patient and willing to answer any silly and not so silly question you may have. I love that their products are of the highest quality, displayed and ready for you to try out. I know most people check out sex shops to get gag gifts for bachlorette/bachlor parties but this place is so much more than that. It's bright, clean and truly a great experience if you are looking for a special toy or something to heat up your night. read more

I can't believe these words are coming out of my mouth, but this place is truly a classy sex toy shop. The wide variety of products are all high end and the place is not only tactful, but so clean it could possibly be sterile. Asking questions in a sex shop can feel super creepy, but the people working there seemed inclined to help when I asked. For someone that might be a little apprehensive about going to an adult toy store this place is definitely not scary read more

She Bop was recommended to me by my OB-Gyn. What a nice, little store. The gal that helped me was so professional and knowledgeable. The store is classy. read more

My friend I I went in, a bit sheepishly. We are well into crone age & not exactly habituated to this sort of retail, at least in the ah...flesh so to speak. We were not treated like relics or cute little old ladies, thank you! It was an interesting outing & fun. As my friend said later, "They had some things to do some stuff that I didn't know needed getting done!" read more

I love Shebop and the gentleman who helped me with my dildo needs was very informative. I felt very comfortable and loved the variety of this location. I also love that the class choices and the amount of books they had on every topic you'd be curious about. I would recommend this location if you have never been to a sex shop. It is a very friendly and laid back shop. read more

The employees were very knowledgeable and helpfully yet not overly attentive. I tend to be pretty shy, but I felt totally comfortable in the store and with my purchases. 10/10 could come back again. read more

Went in with my girlfriend. Super comfortable atmosphere! Had a good variety of options and helped us out when we stood there thinking a bit too hard. Definitely be back again! read more

I've been going to She Bop for years, it's obviously by far and away the best place to get sexy supplies in Portland. And now there is one way closer to my side of town which is fantastic! It's always a fun and educational shopping experience, and the staff are perfect about answering questions and helping out when you want it and leaving you alone if you'd prefer that. It is really helpful that you can actually try out every toy in the store (with your hand!), I've found so many great ones over the years. And it's great knowing everything in the store is carefully screened and selected for safety and quality. The new shop on Division is very welcoming and always makes me feel comfortable. read more

I have always loved the selection at She Bop. I've purchased a variety of items here over the past decade and have always been pleased with the quality. I also really like that they sell black nitrile gloves and wish that other stores specializing in sexy time products saw disposable gloves as an important part of safe sex. Most of all the staff has always helped me with what I am looking for with knowledge and kindness without being overbearing and with the utmost care so that I don't have to feel embarrassed for asking a perfect stranger for help with such intimate items. Strongly recommend for the shyest of customers and the extroverted freaks. Thank you for your years of service She Bop! read more

I really like this store. Second time I have been in. It's very clean and classy. But I was not impressed with the service. I was not greeted when walking in. My husband and I had to say Hello first and there was only one other customer in the store, so they weren't busy. And then when asking the employee (short blonde haired woman) about the product we were interested in; she was very rude about our questions. We were just hoping to get some feedback about the product. Just asking if any other customers had ever mentioned their thoughts or preferences and she just kept repeating her answer very rudely "Like I said, everyone is different"!! Her entire approach was rude. Okay....I'm about to spend over $100 in your store on a non-returnable product. You should be a little more kind to your customers. We were purchasing a toy we have never used before and just wanted some input. You do work in retail ya know!! Are men not allowed in the store??...I just wasn't sure where her attitude was coming from. We purchased our product and walked out. Both my husband and I were like "wow" when we left. I'm not sure if I will be back. read more

i adore she bop! it was the first shop like this i'd ever been to and i've been back at least 5 times since then. the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. i never once felt uncomfortable or embarrassed to be there. the merchandise is quality and i feel safe about all my purchases. brought my boyfriend there and he had never been to a place like that and just today he asked if we could go back! i love she bop! i would definitely recommend this place to anyone! even if toys don't interest you they have a great selection of condoms, lube, and books! read more
