Shaw's Plumbing was the worst contractor I've hired in over 30 years of hiring plumbers, builders, electricians, etc. He showed up reeking of marijuana, inflated his original price, and their workmanship is extremely sub par and shotty at best. They are very unprofessional. You'll be better off hiring ANY other plumber. Good luck, you've been warned. read more

Terrible service! Job was finished and didn't have the inspector even scheduled for over 2 weeks, no updates to me jsut left me waiting and wondering. I called and texted for updates and no response until he finally called jsut to scream at me and make excuses. zero customer service and shotty work. opened up a panel that wasn't even needed to get to the plumbing(just electrical behind it) and threw away the panel so now I have to fix it and buy new material. removed some flooring in a closet and didn't put the flooring back. very unprofessional. read more

They broke our pipes on purpose to try to get a bigger job out of us. The tenant heard the technician pounding on the pipes. They tried to charge a $6,000 for a dig out when we hired them for a simple snake out. I hired a new plumber and when they tried to snake the drain they couldn't get in because Shaw plumbing intentionally broke the pipes. We are just a small nonprofit organization rehabbing the community, if this company has that kind of integrity to steal from us and to vandalize our property imagine what they would do to you. They cost us $5500. We hire them to do a snake they said it was $200 for the snake. When I arrived on site they said it was going to cost us $350 because the technician had to put on boots. They sent us a photo and the technician had on shoes. This is a very dishonest company. read more

I called Shaws plumbing today because my basement backed up. They were able to come out tonight and snake out my blockage and use a camera to show me my pipes outdoors. very nice gentlemen that came out. very courteous and explained everything along the way. Shaw's Plumbing appears to be a great company, their fast response lead to a good impression of very helpful services, but the plumber refused to start the project until receives the full price for their service in advance. Even though after I had spoken to them and agreed to their fees, but without mentioning paying in advance policy. Actually, I was surprised about the behavior of twisting their agreement and their dishonest evaluation. read more
