Absolutely hands down the worst Porta John's I have ever had to use. I'm currently working at GM Lake Orion. They come to "clean" 3 times a week. Yes they empty the waste but do not clean them or refill with toilet paper. There hand washing stations are a joke. The water smells foul and of the 2 we have in my area usually don't have paper towels or soap. I would recommend going with anyone else. They claimed that they have received zero calls or complaints from this job site. This is a lie and there costumer service is a joke. Not sure how they stay in business. Unprofessional and rude. Would give zero stars if this was an option. read more

I wish I could give negative stars for this company. The lady that works in the office should never be allowed to work in customer service. She is so rude and just gives so many excuses. We rented a porta potty for over a year and they say the cleaning once a week is included in the price. Well they cleaned it maybe 20 times in the 14 months we have had it. I was calling almost every week to see why they did not clean and just another excuse. So finally they just stopped cleaning after a month I finally called to have them come and get it and hired someone else. I will give it to them that they are the cheapest but I guess you get what you pay for! I would never recommend them to anyone unless you enjoy the smell of a dirty toilet. read more

Absolute WORST customer service imaginable. Not sure how you've been in business so long. Clearly stated on your website it says you provide 24 hour EMERGENCY services. When my husband and I called due to an EMERGENCY - whomever answered the phone stated they have better things to do on a Saturday afternoon. Actually glad the guy was a major idiot. Wouldn't want anyone that speaks to potential customers that way at my home "helping" us out anyhow! I had a riser installed while they pumped out my septic. I was told how much it would cost. When I received my bill, there was extra charges. They told me I had a rare septic tank and it cost more. They didn't bother to notify me before installing it. I would have never even installed the riser if these charges were there. They just installed it and billed me. I will never use this company for pumping ever again. I also think its weird that they prefer you not to be home when they do it. They won't give you a time they will be there, they will call you when they are 10 minutes away. Real shady company read more

We've been using Brendal's for longer then I can remember. They've been great! Had one technician with an attitude but otherwise as a company they've been great. Service is amazingly quick. They care as if your family. We called on a holiday and told them we were backing up and couldn't use anything. Within minutes the office called back and said they didn't have a driver but the owner heard we were having issues so he was coming out himself. In today's age, it's all about convenience and money. Brendel's is so above that. That's why they have been in business longer then I been alive. On a holiday the first thing mentioned (if they answer) is money and then if you agree to the crazy fee, you get a earful of how inconvenient it is and they have to get a tech to leave their family to service you. Brendels, NOT EVEN CLOSE! The owner steps in without hesitation. All I can say is "WOW"! read more

My son hosted a wedding event for his sister for 100 people. Brendel was contracted to provide a high end toilet trailer (i.e. running water flush toilets, electric hook-up, wash basin, cabinets, women's and men's separate rooms). The unit was excellent with many compliments from older folks. My problem was with the delivery man. I wasn't there when it was set up; however, my son and son-in-law were. They asked that the trailer be set in an inconspicuous location and the driver refused becoming quickly adversarial where my son walked away feeling it would escalate and the driver would leave with the unit. The driver emphatically stated he would be picking the unit up at 5:00am the day after the party (i.e. Sunday in a residential community). When I arrived, we carefully made the unit less conspicuous (it had looked like the center of attention) hooked the water and power and the party went off without a hitch. The unit was gone when I arrived to assist with clean-up at 9:00am. Around 11:00, I began rolling the water hose up and discovered, the service provider didn't turn the water off at the house. He probably would argue that he did us a favor by tying the hose in a simple square knot which did nothing at all to stem the water flow. Therefore, if the provider was true to his word/threat and picked the unit up at 5:00, my son's household water well pumped water, full flow, for six hours into the adjacent woods. Brendel may be a good and reputable company, I've used them from time to time in the past 30 years for septic service and maintenance without problems; however, I would be very hard pressed to consider any type of service from them in the future. May I remind you I am NOT the property owner and this review does NOT come from the owner or the wedding party hosting the event. Long time resident, Hartland Michigan. read more

Great Service! Called to make an appointment on Wednesday and they were going to have my tank pumped the next day. I requested for it to be pumped Friday. Joe, the service tech, came out today and was very friendly and informative. He did a great job. He cleaned the tank out with a hose and made sure the water from the house was draining correctly. I used Ewers Septic service before and they were HORRIBLE. I will be using Brendel's from now on!!! read more

I had a sewage backup on a Sunday and used their website to make an appt for Monday. I wasn't sure if it went through on my iPad so I called the next morning and they were already looking at my request and would have someone out that afternoon. I received a phone call from one of their service guys about an hour later and they were already on their way out. About 15 min later they showed up with the tank truck and 2 pick up trucks. 4 service guys and supervisor showed up. I wasn't sure where my tank was but they were able to locate it in about 10 min. I had been in my home for about 5 years and never had the tank pumped. They warned me that there could be damage to my drain field. They also asked if I need a riser put into make locating & access easier in the future as they charge for digging to get to the access. The tank is supposed to be pumped every 3-5 yrs. I agreed to the riser installation. I had to leave for work and they said they would call me if there were any issues. No call received and they left the work order in the door. Great service and I will use them again in the future. read more
