In the second area he lingered a few feet behind me for a long time after I found the area I needed: which I noticed, thought was strange, and I got the sense that he was trying to be intimidating. Then another costumer needed help finding something so he walked a away for less than a minute. Then he returned & continued eyeballing me. Very obvious and intrusive. After I found what I needed I walked to the front, and when I passed him I said; "You watching me like a hawk?" His reply was "yeah". I've been followed around in stores before, and I really don't like being profiled. But he admitted what he was he was doing which is accusing someone of being a thief by de facto. I'm not a thief, and have never stolen from a business. I voiced my protest to the guy at the front of the store. I really don't like leaving reviews that are negative because it affects everyone there. But when there's a employee who acts like that I'm sure the business owner would want to be aware. I'm almost 50, have never stolen from a business, and really don't like being treated like that.

Prices are competitive and it is so fun just to walk around and see what you might find. They staff is great and there is Parking and no floor to ceiling merchandise or big forklifts beeping at you as you shop . If your looking for it I bet they have it . I was so surprised to see how many tools and supplies they had for the project I was doing . They also have snacks and fun items that you did not know you needed. This is my new go to store. I am just sorry I did not find it sooner.

The owner is very nice, but the nicest person is the gentleman that has worked there on a weekend, each time that we have gone. Always check their hours, they have one day that it's closed, maybe Monday? Anyways, just check first. Right on Route 1 in Wells, town next to Ogunquit, not too far off the highway. They also have a new back room that they were putting a lot of Kimberbell punch kits in, I believe. Anyways, i definitely recommend this friendly place to visit and purchase some new fabric from.

Today was that day with them hosting a Mother's Day pop up with Eighty 8 Donuts and the newly opening Mini Bar coffee trailer. It's the perfect time of year to visit here with Maine finally getting warmer and nicer weather. Despite the somewhat rainy and gloomy start to the day the sun has come out and so have so many people. They have a large parking lot but it's been very full. If you are looking for any plant this is the place to visit! From the smallest options including Bonsai trees and succulents all the way up to trees and more. You could spend hours here walking down and looking at each and every plant they have for sale! We even had a great time just browsing and looking at all the beautiful plants. They had many members of staff who were putting more plants out but all willing to help with any customers who needed it. I thought prices were reasonable for what they were. Some were high but it was for large or non common things. Besides the plants they also have an indoor shop with bird feeders, feed, books, and more. Extremely well maintained and thought out business with phenomenal staff and an incredible variety of plants for sale. A true paradise for those with a green thumb!

Most items are marked down around 50% due to the items being discontinued, slightly below quality (too thin or too thick) standards, or overstock situations. Wanna save more or have a list of gift baskets to fill, no problem! You may purchase a whole sealed box to take away with you. Also of note, if you cannot decide on products, there are samples (jellies, etc) in the back of the store that may assist on what to buy. The far side (opposite of the cash stand) offers regular priced merchandise, with many items newly introduced to the market, so don't forget to check that out! Stonewall products are amazing in quality to begin with... this store does not compromise that too much but does make up in savings.
