The surgery was a complete success and exactly what the doctor promised, but that's not the whole story. Being the retirement age I've visited a lot of medical facilities and by far Griffin Eye Center is the best I've ever used. From my first contact with them I started to develop confidence in Griffin. Their coordinator was knowledgeable, thoroughly explained my options and without any pressure. This carried through with during my first visit as the two technicians who examined me, they were top notch. Next was Dr. Griffin who first asked me what my expectations were then explained my options and then the procedure I felt would suit me.. After our conversation my confidence in his practice increased more. His surgery team continued to meet those high standards, they were caring, efficient and very professional. This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had when seeing an eye doctor. I called for an appointment, and they got me in within a week. I went today and got there 20 minutes early for my appointment & was taken in early. The staff was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! The assistant (not sure of her actual title) went through numerous series of tests and set up a lot of information prior to me seeing Dr. Horn. Once the Dr. came in, she was quick, precise and answered all my questions so that I understood everything she was saying. Dr. Horn is straight forward & I appreciate that 100%, she talks to you, not at you. Next, out to pick out a pair of glasses - the woman that assisted me was friendly, again knowledgeable and walked me through different frame options. I chose a pair of Prada frames, went with anti-glare, transitions & progressive lenses. Quite frankly I was nervous about the cost, but when all said and done, the price was reasonable and she discounted the frames as I do not have insurance and was paying out of pocket. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO BEACH FAMILY EYE CARE and I'm actually looking forward to the fact they will call me next year when I'm due for a visit!! (my only regret is I forgot everyone's names that assisted me today!)

Then she showed me others that were double and triple the price.. then she said with the discounts(which weren't much)I had them do the glasses, big mistake. They didn't use my insurance at all and charged my wife and be 1200.00 $ for new glasses, she likes to fudge the numbers!! Also my neighbor called them and was billed 160.$ ON A PHONE CALL. She's disputing this bogus charge. I would look elsewhere for eye care. Seriously crooked outfit.
