Instead of owning up to the mistake, they sat me down with a technician who condescendingly explained that the prescription was "correct" and that I was simply looking out of my glasses wrong. Let that sink in -- according to them, the problem wasn't their work, but the way I was using my own eyes. That level of arrogance and incompetence would almost be funny if it weren't so insulting. I then had to incur the cost of getting a re-test at a different optometrist who verified that the Siegmund Eye Care test results were incorrect! And now I am out over $500 for the new glasses I purchased that have the wrong prescribed lenses. Vision care is supposed to be about accuracy, accountability, and patient trust. This department failed on all three. If you want glasses that actually work -- and professionals who take responsibility -- I recommend going absolutely anywhere else.
