    Ready for Lebanese food!
    Kimari C.

This is probably the best gyro meat and halal beef I've ever had! I stopped being vegan today for this meal I was craving! (Ok I'm flexatarian!) but I got a shawarma bowl with beef and gyro meat and it was absolutely delicious! Somebodies grandma is in there really making delicacies and authentic Lebanese food! I saw her pouring oil myself so you know it's real! True family owned vibes and feel here! Highly recommend this place. The service is great and accommodating and the ambiance is true to the culture, every table had a different historic Lebanese landmark picture on it. Must try! I could easily become a regular if I lived closer!

a great shawarma place in Arlington! we decided to try this place in Arlington that serves Lebanese shawarma. It is run by an Lebanese couple. First off, the service was amazing. The owner (and chef!) and his wife are so sweet and they really care about their ingredients and what they're serving. The store is medium sized. It can fit multiple medium groups, but not a super huge group. They also offer happy hour from 2-4 kn their chicken shawarma sandwich on weekdays. They also do catering. We got the kibbeh, hummus, shish tawouk plate, beef shawarma, the special one sandwich, fries, beef burger, and baklava. We also tried their spicy sauce - the panther sauce. Okay, so straight up the shawarma is so delicious! You can taste the freshness in every bite and the beef meat is so juicy and tender! The special sandwich is a SK grill specialty in which he mixes two types of meat on a larger size of bread. Okay, for real y'all gotta go for the sandwiches/shawarmas. Their sauces, both the garlic and the panther sauce, were rich and perfect complement to the sandwiches and the fries. The kibbeh was also one of the better ones I've had. It wasn't crumbly, but it's crunchy and filled with meat inside. Hummus was fresh & baklava is a good option if you really want something sweet afterwards. Burger was okay. All in all, a great family owned restaurant where you can get really delicious, fresh shawarma from a chef who really cares about the food he serves. Definitely check this place out.

Was looking for something quick to eat, but also finding something that was new in the area, well not necessarily new, because we just moved in the neighborhood. So we stumbled across this place right next to Kroger's grocery store. Thought to give it a try We were not disappointed. In fact, the proprietors were really friendly, and the food came out quickly. We started off with bubba ganoush which was great. It comes with a couple of fresh soft pitas Then for the main course we had the shawarma chicken and I had the King gyro Both were amazing and it comes with a side of fries. But we really didn't need the fries. But if you like crosscut fries, this is a good place to visit because they were actually tasty and lightly salted The chicken shawarma was wrapped very well. Good spices and tasted really good The gyro was amazing. Plenty of tzatziki sauce, and had a nice balance between the cooling of the cucumber and the tang of the onions. But I go back there again, yes of course we definitely will be. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Just go if you're looking for some good shawarma or a gyros

What a Treat!! I stopped by my neighborhood grocery store and decided to fo next door and treat myself with falafel. I decided to not eat meat twice a week a while back, so this was perfect! Oh man, these falafel were probably the best I ever had Nice and hot, outside was crispy and they were full of flavor. Not to mention the sauce that came with.... delicious. I'm definitely coming back for dinner one day

The owner wasn't kidding about being the Shawarma King! The owners are so kind and treated extremely well. I literally tried 1/3 of the menu . To my delight everything was so delicious! I'm from Iraq so I know what the flavors should be like, this place is spot on! I let my parents try it and they were extremely pleased. They said the owner really knows how to cook the authentic flavors of Lebanon. Extremely clean, friendly staff, and authentic flavors of Lebanon. I'm not sure what else to say, just go try it.

Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. To Management: You have a wonderful staff, good location and the food is pretty decent..However I'd recommened to keep a check on your oil used for deep fried stuff. The fries were a huge let down. One bite and i frlt that bad taste of oil at the back of my throat. Also please revamp your spicy sauce a bit. Too much vinegar. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Signing off Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie

Well I hope it is isolated and not because they are growing too fast. I'd give 3.5 stars for this visit if I could. There was more staff than I've ever seen before however things seemed a little chaotic. One waitress rushed by the counter and knocked straws all over the floor - she saw she did it and didn't stop or come back to pick them up - one of the guys picked them up when he went by. There was a table that was uncleared nearly our entire meal - and the plates still had some food on them which I thought was unusual (I'm used to seeing clean plates or to-go bags). Our waitress was chaotic - hyper, rushed, and distracted. Not giving normal Fattoush vibes. The hummus was delicious as usual. Beautiful, & velvety. Their hummus has become my standard for what it should be. The grape leaves were extremely tart - tasted like a mouth full of vinegar. I haven't ordered them in a while and am hoping this is not a recipe change. Finished one & couldn't eat any more. The garlic dip was tamed way down. Made me sad because I like the stronger garlic. Again, hoping this is a one-off. An owner at another local establishment had told me that many tame it down because of the American palate. I can understand needing to find that balance of staying authentic vs please customers but I'm going to need the secret password to get the real stuff! Lol. (But seriously - if you know it, please let me know!) After trying their burger awhile back, my Mom hasn't been able to order anything but that as her entree. It is great. Steak fries are same as straight up American steak fries and good. She said next time she'll get the sauce on the side because it was heavy handed this time and overpowered the delicious meat. Bun wasn't holding up as it usually does. The chicken shish tawook was good as always however I was missing the bite from garlic dip. I love their rice! They have great yellow rice too. My husband and I shared and had some to bring home for one lunch. I got a piece of Iraqi bread because I've never ordered it before- it was really good! Served warm and bigger than large dinner plate. On our way out, while we were checking out the beautiful patio and new area to come, we had a 5 STAR moment when we saw Chef Bashar. I asked him if he'd consider doing a borek appetizer sometime as we had a delicious cigar (bc it was rolled) borek at a place in Dallas. He was very open to the idea and said they will be having 2 different menus when the new concept opens and adding more vegetable options. He also noticed my husband looking at the Palastine Cola in the drink case and told him to take one home and try. I thought this was extremely nice and generous. I look forward to continuing to support this great local business and believe this night was just an off night. You can also follow them on instagram to watch them make dishes, see specials & restaurant updates.

It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.
