I have always said it doesn't matter how amazing the shawarma is, the fries at shawarma places are always subpar - but this place proved me wrong! They have what tastes like beer battered crispy fries that I love, I was thoroughly impressed. I've had shawarma at a few different spots in the DFW area, and this is by far the best that I've had! It came out hot, and had fantastic flavor. They did not skimp on the garlic sauce which I greatly appreciated. The French fries also had great flavor, and were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Stopped by as a party of 3 on a Wednesday night, and the place was empty! Service was pretty prompt, you order at the counter and the food came out pretty quickly. You can tell it's a family run place. Food was delicious, pricing was affordable. Love that they have half portions and pricing available. No music or stand out decor. If I could leave less than one star I would. This place was an absolute nightmare. Where do I even begin? When I first got there, the customer service was horrible. The people that worked there were rude. I don't even think there was one friendly person working there. Second, the place was dirty. I don't even know how they passed any kind of health inspections, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, all the tables were dirty, and don't get me started on the bathroom. There was literally at least three cockroaches in the bathroom. I can't imagine what their kitchen looked like. If I would've seen the bathroom before I ordered my food I would've never even ordered food there. I can't even believe this place is in business. I found this place while getting gas across the street. My son spotted it and wanted to give them a try. When we walked in we were greeted by a guy who seemed to be the owner. He showed us the menu and there were so many delicious options to choose from on the menu, but my son was set on the falafel sandwich that was advertised on the front window. He placed his order at the counter and sat in the dining area to wait for it. The dining area was clean and brightly colored in hues of orange and white. There were bar height tables off to one side and a bar table overlooking the parking lot. There were some other lower tables with booth seating on one side and chairs on the other in addition to some tables in the middle of the dining area. The food is very decently priced and you get a generous amount. The falafel wrap was super hot and crispy! My son said he throughly enjoyed eating it and is looking forward to his next visit, so yeah, we are going to return! read more

I'm not a shawarma/middle eastern food aficionado. In fact the first time I ever tried shawarma was at Shawarma Press in Plano. That blew me away. At first I was unsure if this Frisco location would hold up the same but my second visit sealed the deal. I can't say whether this is the most traditional shawarma since i'm a tourist in the cuisine. But what I can say is that this. shawarma. hits!! When they say 'big flavor' they mean it. The spices, fresh ingredients, and saj bread all marry so well together. It's the perfect food in my opinion. And the fries... every time I have french fries at a middle eastern restaurant, ya'll always do it up real proper. Will be coming back. They need to hire more staff. There's only 1 worker during lunch hours. Every time a new customer came in the worker came to the front to the cashier. It was so stressful watching the poor guy. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and just a warning, it's like a tortilla wrap with chicken, pickles and very little garlic sauce. It didn't have much flavor. I would suggest the beef wrap instead. It's just a combination of bad customer service with bad food and cheapness throughout the restaurant. We've been here three times now and love it. The pressed sandwich bread is crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and perfectly cooked each time. The filling inside is great, and the hummus and yogurt dips taste authentic and homemade. My wife gets her sandwich without pickles. I usually would too, but they chop it up into small bites of pickles so that they simply enhance the taste of the wrap instead of overpowering it. Definitely try their desserts. Cute little boxes that slide out to reveal a mini baklava bite, and a similar dessert that looks a lot like a miniature bird's nest. I tried calling this restaurant 7 times before posting this review. My family and I ordered a few shawarma wraps, a falafel wrap and a chicken rice platter. All of the shawarma wraps were wrapped in tortillas, the meat had gone bad in two of the wraps and the side of tahini had also gone bad and had a horrible smell. The rice platter consisted of boiled white rice topped with overcooked chicken. It was inedible. My daughters could not even take more than a bite or two. It is sad to see that a restaurant would be ok serving this type of food and on top of that to not even pick up your phone. We will definitely not be going back and I advise everyone else to do the same. read more

I'm gonna be completely honest. The chicken shawarma here is the best I've ever had. They do shawarma better than I can make it. And their sauce is out of this world delicious. The fries are so good too. But the past few times I've went, something goes wrong. And simple stuff too. One visit we were told they had no fries but this was after we paid and we never got a refund. So the next time we went, we told them we never got that refund so they gave us free fries to even it out. That's fine and great, but they said they were out of chicken shawarma and they offered me beef. I don't eat beef. I don't eat pork. I only eat chicken. I drove 25 minutes to eat my favorite chicken shawarma just to be told they don't have any. Like, maybe plan better?? Order enough food to get you through the weekend. Just a thought.
