    Chicken shawarma

The shawarma is okay. They don't put much chicken in it, but the rest of the toppings are nice & fresh. Sadly neither the garlic or humus have much flavour. The A wrap is just $6 so for an inexpensive quick meal it will do the job. Next time I'm in Windsor I'll try somewhere else for a quick lunch.

Okay so, came here drunk and L-O-V-E-D it so of course came back sober to see if it was actually good or just drunken taste buds. Anyways, turns out nope it's actually just straight delish. The garlic sauce is creamed and flavoured to the heavens. Everything was fresh and put together with perfection! Honestly, just a cornucopia of delicious flavours! Tip: ask for extra creamy garlic sauce to elevate the shawarma to a whole other level Pro tip: make sure you get extra napkins

Why haven't I reviewed this place yet? I was introduced to this place by my niece who was attending UofW at the time. She and her friends would grab shawarmas after a bit too much drinking and it is conveniently located right after crossing the border from Michigan. Not only that, it is priced perfectly for students and other frugal folks and it also tastes heavenly. You can get beef or chicken shawarma wraps or plates with rice or fries. I prefer just the wraps with everything in it and toasted to perfection. Sometimes I order two for myself which comes to about $10-$12. Make sure you're not kissing or talking anybody's ear off because you'll smell of extreme garlic breath with no mercy. The chicken shawarma is my favorite. Recently tried the fried kibbee stuffed with meat and I wasn't a fan. It was overly dry and barely stuffed with meat and it cost $2 a piece. No thanks to that. Anyway drop by, delicious joint. Lovely workers that greet you like family :-)

I spent a few days in Windsor for a tournament and this place was located close to the Windsor Aquatic Centre, where the tournament was being held. The location is great since it's on Oullette. I came for lunch and it was busy which is always a good sign. They did an excellent job in moving the line fairly quickly. I decided to go for the lunch special: $8.99 for a Shawarma wrap, side and drink. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with a salad and drink. You get a choice of ingredients but I just asked for everything. They toasted the wrap and the chicken was delicious. Very good place! I was very happy with my choice and if you are in the area and craving Shawarma, this is the place. #20 of 2018

This is probably my favorite shawarma spot EVER. I used to come here all the time when I lived in Windsor and I still make a trip to this restaurant whenever I visit. I love their beef shawarma, I think it's the garlic sauce and the pickles and the moist shreds of beef that make the wrap so good! Windsor is great for their Mediterranean food and this place is number one on my list.

This place doesn't deserve any stars at all they don't know how to treat customers, I would never recommend it to anyone.

I can only give this place a 3 star based on the fact that the Shawarma was just ok. Falafel was very good as was the hummus.

Best shawarma I've had in Windsor, so far. Smells a little weird in there, though.

Small, quiet spot with halal meet. The *chicken breast…read moreplate* is by far the best thing on the menu in my opinion. The sauce has got an amazing flavor and it's the chicken breast is tender and juicy. A friend had the lamb plate, which was ordered medium cooked but I have to say it looked more pink than I would have expected. The waitress said that's how most people order it, but I would recommend jf you're not used to eating lamb, get it well done. And the rice that came with it, was very basic. Nothing great. Each plate comes with an option of soup/salad and fries/rice. The plates range in the $20-$30 range depending on which meat you order so a little bit pricey.

By my calculations 109.99 x 13% made it about 125$ . They must have included a tip on the final price without saying anything. Food was average and not a lot of either. Compared to the Monaco family platter which is cheaper this one wasn't very good at all. No grilled vegetables on this platter. The Baba Ganoush was tatesless as well as the hummous and i didn't want to taste the hummous after this. My wife said it was tasteless as well. She makes a better hummous than this place. The grape leaves which i usually look forward to were small and anemic. My wife who isn't arabic makes better grape leaves. The meat was average. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Arabic and Vietnamese food are my favorites. And i go to Dearborn as well for good Arabic food. I get more in Dearborn at a third of the price. Sign me "Cheated out of 150$. "

Stopped in for dinner and was very pleased with the whole experience. Made a reservation (maybe not…read morenecessary) but it filled up so I would recommend. Cool spot that they have. Kitchen is an open concept in the back right of the restaurant. Big bar in the middle and tables/booths throughout. Went with some friends, so we ordered a fair amount of food to try. We ordered the hummus with lamb, the crispy potatoes, falafel, and the mixed grill. Before getting into the food, quick shout out to our waitress. She was amazing. Very attentive without being too much. Walked us through the menu. Was patient with us. I would have gone back for that alone. The food rocked. The hummus with lamb was my friends' favorite. I thought it was very good. Ample serving as well. That goes for everything. No skimpy servings. Almost $20 for hummus with lamb seems a bit pricy but well worth it. The crispy potatoes were very good. The jalapeño added a little kick which opened up the sinuses. Would order again. The falafel was the best I've had. Perfectly fried. Very nice flavor. Could have just eaten those all night and been extremely happy. Finally, the mixed grill was great. It came with chicken, ribeye, kofta, some veggies, rice, and pita. My one complaint would be that the pita was so soggy when it came because it was under the meat and some sauces which was a little unfortunate. Still a good pita though. The chicken was good. Nothing mind blowing. Nice char. My friends really liked it, so different strokes I guess. The ribeye chunks were nice. Solid medium rare-medium cook on them. Solid marinade/seasoning. Not chewy or fatty which was a bonus cause you never know with steak. Finally, the star of the show which was the kofta. If I go back, I only need kofta as my main. I'm not a huge kofta guy but this might have converted me. Grilled to perfection. The lamb was not too overpowering which can sometimes be the case. Very good portion as well (2 big pieces). Rice and veggies were standard. Nothing special; by no means bad. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong here. Curious how similar it is to Phoenicia in Bham (need to try that). 5 big stars.

Loved all the items we got. We shared each appetizer and entree. I'll add pictures to show the yumminess. And the warm most hand towels after the meal add a great final touch. Possibly the only downside is it was crowded downtown and valet was $20 as a result. But besides that, I highly recommend!!
