We called before heading over to make sure they were still serving lunch because it was late in the afternoon. The experience was great when we arrived. Our server was patient when taking our order and helped us with our dietary needs. The food was DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFULLY DISPLAYED. The portions were generous for the cost. We had a relaxing meal in a comfortable table. We finished everything on our plates. We ordered the vegetable and chicken shawarma combos. HIDDEN GEM ALERT!! I fear after this review they will be super busy going forward but it's alright b/c we were just visiting! We loved how small and intimate the restaurant is - if you're driving by, you'll defiantly miss it! Newer, our server, was very kind and attentive to our needs. Our food was delicious! We went with the stuffed grape leaves and the beef kebobs with a side of Cuban potatoes. We were advised that the potatoes would be spicy but they actually were not! Perhaps a hint of heat. First place my family stopped at to eat on our trip to Windsor and the food scene for the rest of the weekend definitely peaked early. This place is great! Really delicious food, huge portions, and reasonable prices. Their toum was delicious! It is a Lebanese garlic sauce that's actually more like a spread because of its thickness. Their meats were cooked nicely and not overcooked. Their salad was crisp and fresh. We were the only people dining in at the restaurant so service was a bit slow. Their business came mainly from deliveries from what it seemed. This is the only place I'd re-visit if I was ever back in Windsor. read more

The 'Mediterranean' in their name is likely Lebanese as that dominates the menu - though there are some pasta dishes. Though it's a bit of an odd mix, the one pasta we ordered (for my son) was pretty good. The feel of the decor is going for classy but there's finishes and touches about it that still keep it fairly casual. The pricing is certainly not very expensive. Our group ordered a platter which had about all the different kinds of meat and sides you'd expect from a Lebanese place. All of it was very good and the beef skewers stood out in particular. Stuffed grape leaves, spinach pie, and felafel on par with the best. Felafel is so good when it is perfect. As a family of four we appreciate a meal out being reasonably priced, the exchange rate made it a bit sweeter. Loved the dishes here Eddy's is another hidden gem in Windsor. I tried it last month after 3 years of being here and wish I knew about it before. I tried it because it was rated as the #1 restaurant on yelp. I was initially discouraged to check it out because of the appearance of the restaurant from outside. However, the inside of the restaurant has a very romantic and cozy feel to it. The dimmed lights and chill music add to the ambiance Great for dates with your significant other...or just a nice dinner with a friend. The food itself was delicious too. Whole Chicken is to die for and I am still salivating. Such reasonable prices, a really warm welcome, and great ambiance (not fancy shmancy, but just very warm and cozy).. 5 very hungry people ate dinner until they couldn't stuff any more, and the bill was still under 50 dollars, so if you plan well you can definitely go below 10 dollars a person for dinner here! I really liked that they gave a lot of options as sides for the entrees. The sauteed veggies that we chose with the chicken were really, really, nice, and I really wouldn't trade that for simple rice or fries at all, especially as they give pita bread to go with it as much as you want, all inclusive! The baklava was also the best I have ever had, not at all the typical store bought ones. They also have regular North American favorites like burgers and pasta. Wow! This restaurant was amazing. We were a group of 3, we ordered Whole Chicken platter, a mixed shawarma plate (chicken & beef), sides of hummus and garlic potatoes. It was so much food for the 3 of us and everything was so tasty. At the end of it, they offered us dessert on the house as we drove all the way from Chatham to eat dinner there. With taxes and tip we paid about 60$, which was 20$ each split three ways. Loved the taste of their food and their hospitality. We'll definitely be back again. read more

The night before my cousin's college graduation, my family and I decided to have dinner here. My cousins who live in the area suggested it, and it worked out since the food is halal. When my uncle made the reservations, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they kept the place open just for us even though we came after their normal closing time. Thus, our party of 11 headed out late to Eddy's for a private, intimate dinner. Eddy himself was our server and was super friendly! He patiently answered any questions we had about the food, and the food came out quick. We all had family style dishes except for 2 people who ordered sandwiches. Everything was yummy and well made; I especially enjoyed the kabobs and grilled vegetables from the family platter. The tabouli salad was made differently than what I was used to, but I still enjoyed it. In addition, we were celebrating my uncle's belated birthday, and at the end of the night, Eddy came out with a very delicious piece of chocolate cake for him. I live in the Los Angeles, California and I needed to urgently find a restaurant in Windsor that would deliver to a funeral/celebration of life. Based on Eddy's reviews (i love reviews) I decided to give them a call. Lucky me, Eddy (the owner) answers and tells me he can make it happen. He advised me to call him back tomorrow (Sunday) and he'll personally take the order and assured me that it will get delivered on time on Monday. I called him back on Sunday and the rest is history.
