First time here. Will review as soon as I have my food. Service so far very nice and friendly. Very quiet here today but that's ok with me.

I visited Sourdough bread House back in the day when they were in Maitland and was pleasantly…read moresurprised by their new, larger space. The food was just as good as I remembered from a few years ago. It can be difficult to find consistency in restaurants these days, so I really appreciate that the quality hasn't changed. It's nice to have a spot like Sourdough to add variety to the rotation of mostly American breakfast spots. I ordered the Sourdough Bread Plate, which is a large portion. Even though it's listed on the lunch menu, I was still able to order it for breakfast. Their bread is incredible, and everything tasted so fresh! The ezme is a wonderful addition to add to the avocado and labneh toasts. I also tried the Turkish coffee, but as someone who doesn't drink black coffee, it wasn't quite for me. I would recommend it mainly to those who enjoy strong, black coffee, though it was a nice touch that it came with a Turkish delight! My only minor critique is that the staff weren't around very much. Our server checked in on us once, and after waiting a bit for someone to bring the check, we eventually just walked up to the counter to pay. Nonetheless, everyone was very friendly!

The turkish coffee was also strong for how small the cup was, with a little turkish delight to take the edge off. The bacon was beef, which was nice. Overall, the food was delicious. However, the service wasn't the best, there was about 3 customers in the restaurant when I went, but the server left all of us when we had to pay, leaving all of us to stand in a line waiting to pay. For a weekday, that felt a little odd. I think the food definitely makes up for it.

If you're looking fresh, delicious, and flavorful food then you must try this Syrian food truck!…read more I don't think there is much Syrian specific options in the area. They are a food truck located behind a Smoke Shop on 17-92 in Longwood. We ordered the Double Arabi Shawarma. They cooked the shawarma fresh for us and the garlic sauce was top tier! We also ordered the dessert, it was like a rice pudding topped with cooked kunafa and pistachios, i love dessert and loved this!!! They were so friendly with top service and the ambiance was great with a beautiful lake view. We definitely plan to go again to try the Toshka and another version of the dessert!

We ordered the toshka, which is lamb meat with cheese and it comes with a garlic sauce, pickles, tomatoes and a little coleslaw for $14. Another item we ordered was the sujuk for $13. Of the two I preferred this one, it felt more filling. It's bread pressed with pickles, tomatoes and the same minced lamb filling that's in the toshka. You can make the sujuk a meal for an extra $2.50, it will come with fries and a soda. Everything we had tasted good but I felt like the portions were kind of small. The meat was a very thin layer and we both left feeling hungry still. I also didn't like that there was no actual menu in person, we already looked it up online, so we knew what we wanted but the menu doesn't share much details of what a "make it a meal" includes. For what we ordered it seemed to take a considerably long time to make, around 20 minutes. Overall it was nice to try something different, but I was unimpressed with the portion size for the prices.

Kat was our waitress tonight, and she was the only one working the floor. And she WORKED it. Good for her. She was friendly, efficient, and in good spirits despite being super busy. We never had to wait for drinks or anything with her. The deli dogs are always a go-to for me. Reminds me of back up in New York where I grew up. My husband got the Triple J. Mmmm nice servings of the 3 meats, and that Russian sauce rounds it out well. The loaded latkes are usually our appetizer of choice here. We usually ask for extra sour cream because we are dunkers Overall, nice dinner date tonight

The prices have gone way up, the sizes of the sandwiches are noticeably smaller and the food temperature and apparent freshness is WAY below what it was (not in 2015 when we did the last review). The place wasn't busy. The cases are nearly empty, the matzo balls were cold, the sandwich was cold, the pastrami had that "reheated" look to it. Potato pancakes 1 minute from being charcoal. Sorry but big $ and low quality = no more. SAD since this kind of food is hard to come by. We'll just wait and go somewhere good next time. Disappointed...but thanks Jasmyn for being so nice.
