This place seemed nice at first but I wish I didn't trust Debbie to use lasers to remove some tiny…read morecherry angiomas on my stomach, because the spots she lasered ended up blistering and leaving scars. I had to wear bandages on my stomach so the blisters didn't leak onto my shirt. I went in twice, concerned, and she assured me it was normal and I should give it time. I didn't go in the sun all summer. Recently I went in for another follow up appointment to discuss options to fix my scars. I was met with a dismissive, defensive attitude and left feeling very uncomfortable. She literally scoffed saying it's hardly a big deal and that my tattoos were the real permanent alterations. She tried to skirt responsibility by accusing me of spending too much time in the sun (I didn't), that my scars were caused because of my skin tone and blue eyes (my eyes are brown), and that I waited too long between appointments (I followed her instructions). She offered to work on the scars, but I eventually decided I didn't trust her to use lasers on my skin again, and will be going to a bigger, more reputable med spa to fix the 6 scars on my stomach. I'm not a stranger to medical spas, so I understand there are risks, but it was ultimately her poor bedside manner and attitude that disturbed me. I struggled with whether or not to write this review, but ultimately I wish I had been warned before trusting her to alter my body.

I deeply regret choosing Faces STL for my injections…read more From the beginning, I was surprised by the limited selection of injectable products and treatments, including that they do not carry Botox. At the premium prices they charge, I expected more options and a higher level of experience. In hindsight, however, that concern seems insignificant compared with what happened afterward. Following my treatment, both of my eyes became noticeably droopy and extremely heavy, with my left eye barely open at rest. This went far beyond being unhappy with a cosmetic result. I am now seeking evaluation from an established plastic surgeon's office to determine what can be done to improve the issue. What I find absolutely unacceptable is how I was treated when I reported what was happening. I had already made it clear that I was not comfortable allowing them to inject my face again and would not be returning for additional treatment. Instead of responding to a patient reporting a significant medical issue following treatment with concern, empathy and professional follow-up, I was informed that I was no longer permitted to return to the practice. I have never experienced anything like this from a medical aesthetic practice. To report a medical issue following treatment and have the practice's response include telling you that you are no longer welcome--after you had already said you weren't returning--is astonishingly unprofessional. When you trust someone with your face, the true measure of a practice isn't only what happens during the appointment. It's also how they treat you when something goes wrong. Based on both my outcome and how I was treated afterward, I cannot recommend Faces STL.

I stopped because 1) I never knew who was going to do the procedure- because one lady would go above and beyond while the other lady just did small areas - and charge me an enormous amount. 2). When I walked into Laser Lounge they were so friendly and could see I was very nervous, but this whole experience was different!! Katie calmly explained what needs to be done - put a numbing gel on my face and talked to me the whole time !! Just a very good - not that painful procedure. I highly recommend Katie !!! They gave me the best facial I have ever had and fixed my skin right up into glowing and beautiful and I was at the 4 seasons in St. Louis the week before my facial results at Amici blew them out of the water. I also want to mention that I'm a licensed esthetician in California and very knowledgeable and savvy about products and procedures. I'm also very particular and OCD. I was impressed by how thoughtful the layout of the spa was and the small details including a station to sanitize your cell phone while receiving a service which is genius because our phones carry so many germs and bacteria which we put right up to our faces. I got a glycolic peel, dermaplanning and red light therapy in addition to some amazing serums that fixed me right up. The Esthi was so detailed oriented she noticed my eyebrows were looking a little wild and trimmed them up too. I really appreciated that! Then I tried their AMICI products I purchased to incorporate into my at home regime and my mind is blown! The glow serum and the peel pads and the cleanser and the firming serum are amazing! My skin looks better then it ever has! I'm now a huge fan! I did notice there is another review where they're are complaining about their cancellation policy. I just want to say I had to cancel a second appointment I made due to my hectic travel schedule with no issue. I called the spa and got the voicemail where they instruct you to text them and they answered me immediately. You have to take into consideration they are a small business so you need to respect the impact your cancellation has on their Spa and take responsibility. I had no problems! I am so impressed by this small independent business run by some amazing ladies and will be ordering products from California!
