Job that would have kept my car in a shop all day, they did in 3hrs. and for about 1/3 of the price the dealer would have charged me. Just the way they talk(anyone who works there), you understand immediately that they know what they are doing. Oil change, air filters, all belts and pulleys plus a light bulb in left headlight. Amazing is also that they had all parts in stock. Btw Sharret Automotive told me they can't do the belts and pulleys because the car is too complicated. Do not let the looks of their building mislead you, these guys are masterminds. Highly recommend this place. Going back there next week for some more maintenance.

I recommended him to anyone I knew who talked about car repairs. however the 2nd time,he misquoted me price &I assumed he did but he said he would be out the next week. I got the parts needed, texted him about 3xs asking when he could come.no reply.bad communication and customer service.if he misquoted me(and I figured he did) i am very easy to get along with alls he had to do was tell me so.knowing I would have to go somewhere else & pay the higher prices. it's breaks & rotors& i have a kid..it's a safety issue & I would of paid whatever he asked... after the 3rd text I sent & no reply.. I had to go somewhere else 40 mins away to get them done asap..and even more than the price he should have quoted me at. This was disappointing as I am a woman who knows nothing about cars & was looking for a long term mechanic.I would of gotten him a lot of business too working at P&G and my coworkers in the same situation as me.. where this would of been very convenient for a lot of ppl: so I went back & told the people I suggested him to.. how bad his communication was nothing like my 1st experience so up to them to use. but I no longer suggest. still never heard back. no "I'm sorry I misquoted" or a reliable company could of matched the price as his fault he misquoted. but regardless I would of paid him what he asked for good communication and convenience.. so sad ! could of had a long time customer here as my car is getting close to 100,000 miles and it's going to my son in a couple months & I definitely want to keep up with services for my kid to be driving. :(

Finding an honest and dependable mechanic is not easy. Jim is fantastic and I highly recommend his…read moreservices to anyone in Frederick. His prices are fair. He doesn't steer customers to the products that are the most expensive. He encourages customers to buy their own oil/parts if they can to keep prices down and he makes logical recommendations for things you need and the time frame in which they need to be done. He always gets in touch with you before doing something as well. For example, during a routine oil change he looked at the tires on my car, noticed some dry rot, and called immediately to recommend new tires. He gave me some options and an hour later I had two new tires. Lastly, and this is the icing on the cake for me, Jim uses smart phones to take pictures of the things he sees so he can actually show customers what he is talking about. He is the first mechanic I've met that does that and I think it is a nice gesture on his part.

I've never been rushed off the phone or been met with frustration when asking questions. I had my AC quit on me at the beginning of the summer. I actually took the car to another shop in Hagerstown, MD first, who told me it was the rear evaporator core and gave me a very expensive quote to fix it. I called Country Roads and they beat the quote, by quite a lot! When I dropped the car off with Country Roads to do the repair, they couldn't see the dye that the other shop said they could see "clear as day". Rather than just doing the repair, Danny went above and beyond to confirm that the rear evaporator was actually the issue. They could have just as easily taken my money and sent me on my way so I definitely appreciated them being so thorough! The icing on the cake is the fact that they deliver my car to me when it's done!!! I live very close, and am a mother of 4 who has no way to come get the car when my husband is working so that is very convenient! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!
