I recently went to Sharp Studio to get highlights. Alex, the owner, did such an amazing job! He listened exactly to what I wanted and executed perfectly. The place is a bit of a hidden gem, as it's on the first floor of a building so you will need to make an appointment. The studio itself has a great vibe, cozy and sophisticated at the same time. Alex was amazing! I was fortunate enough to book color with Alex several months back for highlights after having a very hard time finding a colorist who I loved enough to stay steady with. Needless to say, I am never gonna have to find another colorist again!!!! Alex is a genius when it comes to color and he works wonders on your hair. Love Alex. Been going to him for a year or so. The entry into the building is kind of confusing, but once you're inside it's beautiful! He redid his entire studio space by himself and it looks great. DRY HAIR CUT, yes! my hair is fine & limp & it had gotten very long, so this is important & no spritzer or mister or any drop of water was in evidence at any time throughout the session. alex knows how to cut hair - his sandwich board at the entrance says "a haircut that doesn't look like a haircut," so I knew from the start that i'd be in good hands. also, he books appointments with time around them so that his current customer is the only one in the shop, which makes for a very easy-going session - we had a great chat during the haircut. he takes his time & the time passed very quickly, & one more thing; his studio is very comfy & relaxing. you get the picture - i'm very pleased with my "haircut that doesn't look like a haircut," & I highly recommend alex at sharp studio & will certainly be back. check it out. read more

Ever since I've grown my hair long, I've had a hard time finding hairdressers who know how to give it just the right amount of layers and texture. Alex is a genius at this. It always grows out so well, and has a ton of body. He is always great company too, so nice and fun to talk to.
