The interior is dated but in good condition and larger than the exterior would lead you to believe. Coachlight has frequent all you can drink specials for many Wisconsin televised sports event. Plenty of space and televisions for watching the Packers, Brewers, Badgers or Nascar. Bartenders/owners Dan & Nikki always offer a pleasant greeting and are inviting to talk to. Chances are more likely than not you'll be offered the shake of the day or the opportunity to shake for a shot. Coachlight has a full kitchen with all the expected bar food offerings. They offer a Sunday broasted chicken & Friday fish fry. All offerings are very reasonably priced. Bar food opinions can vary greatly but Coachlight generally seems to get it right more often than not. If you're staying at the nearby Shawano Co. campground, Coachlight is a worth while venture from the campsite. I've brought my children many times for an afternoon/dinner bite to eat and returned in the evening for adult fun. Don't let the rough exterior scare you away as looks can be deceiving. A definite fun Shawano area experience.

Apparently, there was a party of 30 people in the dining room and they weren't seating any more in there, so it was a 20 minute wait for bar seating. The hostess seemed a little bit disorganized but we put our name down and got some drinks at the bar while waiting. I had a grapefruit moscow mule and he had an orange moscow mule. Both very good! There was some live music in the bar. A little bit loud, but I guess that's to be expected. Finally, a server saw us sitting and waiting and asked if we needed anything. We explained that we were just waiting for a table. After pulling some strings, she managed to get us a table in the dining room without the wait or bothering the large party group. We had the Classic's spread for an appetizer (cheese and bacon with little garlic toasts...how can you pass that up!), french onion and clam chowder soup, spinach salads with hot bacon dressing, and the Nueske's bacon wrapped beef tenderloin. We took some turtle cheesecake home for dessert. Overall, a very nice restaurant! I would come back!
